Customer Ratings & Reviews

Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 18 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Dog food for cats I have three cats with various special needs and my vet recommended this for the one with allergies over the prescription food. The others love it, too, so I can feed everyone the same at last. Note that although the big can wouldn't be as convenient for one, it's fine for the three and contains (per vet) equally good nutrition at a slight saving. July 18, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by Great alternative I have a very fussy Doberman as well as he's allergic to poultry. After trying other types of protein with lukewarm results, We decided to try rabbit. He devours it! It is very easy to mix with his kibble and he loves it! Rabbit is his favorite! February 10, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by same recipe as for cats It is a great product. The recipe is the same as the Feline instinct in a can. I also feed them the rabbit kibble. I have 3 cats so its cheaper to buy the dog food (canned)because they have larger cans. Mr Chewy got it her fast when I ordered it. I have been feeding it to my cats almost two years. August 22, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by Too rich My puppy loves this stuff but it gives him mucousy poo. I don't love the company. Ask them where they source vitamins and minerals from and they will tell you basically every continent in the world but for Africa. That means China. Rabbits are sourced from France ... At least that was the case when I asked, and that gives me some confidence, but given that my dog can't tolerate the stuff, my search for a wet he loves continues. April 26, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great product I have a 12 year old Pomeranian who can eat only this food. She has major allergies and any other food causes her to bleed internally. I thank God for a good vet and this food. She has become stabilized with her problem and is doing well. I tried everything for years and this is the only food that works. Thank you instinct Natures Variety Rabbit. August 9, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by Had high hopes I purchased this food for my Boston Terrier who loves Rabbit treats and is on a Limited Ingredient Diet. Unfortunately, it gave her terrible diarrhea from two scoops of this. It was so bad I don't want to try it again! The reason I am giving this 2 stars and not 1 is because the ingredients DO look wholesome and this product DOES contain chunks of good veggies. May 7, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good protein This was actually recommended to us by our vet for our cat who was diagnosed with diabetes. It is a great source of protein rich food, that has limited carbs. Cats like it, and his diabetes is now under control through diet. Highly recommend. December 30, 2015
