Nature's Variety Instinct Grain-Free Venison Formula Canned Dog Food 4.8 5 8 8
Instinct canned food has changed everything! When our Aussie went to a grain free diet, we began to experiment with a number of Grain Free brands. While there are others out there, for us the solution was the Instinct. A rather finicky eater has developed a whole new attitude about meal times. The allergic dermatitis we've been battling for a year has basically healed in the month that she has been on the canned Instinct. We've noticed a change in stools, less hair loss, less bloating and gas as well as a generally more playful and energetic spirit along with weight loss. April 28, 2014
Seems healthy and my dog likes it My dog likes this. I mix it with Nature's Variety dry dog food. I should say that my dog isn't a picky eater. She seems to digest this well. Her poops seem a little firmer and smaller, which is better. March 24, 2013
I always look for good quality in food for our family and that includes Bailey! It costs more for the 5.5oz cans of Instinct food, but for Bailey's size, one can and a 1/2 cup of dry food plus a ounce of yogurt, I feel it keeps my 11 year Australian shepherd happy and fit. August 10, 2014
I love the ingredients! My furry girls love this! It is one of their favorite meals! April 11, 2014

Quality wet food! This food looks and smells great, the dogs love it, and it's a great part of our rotation. Highly recommended! April 2, 2013
Great but gets hard in the fridge Amazing product! Our Shiba Inu puppy loves it when fresh out the can, but after the fridge it becomes very hard...if you have a micro wave pop it in for a second to warm it up...but if you dont (like us) it's tough to soften it :-( otherwise I definitely recommend it! Nature's Variety is great and Chewy's has so far impressed me with super fast deliveries! I have just purchased the Rabbit and Duck Formula! Let's see how that goes... March 21, 2013
SHIBA INU LOVES THE VENISON & RABBIT My Shiba really likes this food and seems to be thriving on the formula. The venison does become quite 'solid' when refrigerated overnight. I feed only a partial can for breakfast. However, when serving the next day, mash a bit and then zap in the microwave for 5 SECONDS just to take the chill off and loosen it up. Mia has no problem eating it this way... DON'T over warm!!! May 16, 2012
