Nature's Variety Instinct Grain-Free Rabbit Meal Formula Dry Dog Food
A Great Food and Company
After tons of research, trail and error and a pup with a finicky stomach I came across this brand after I did some research and found it is top rated! This food does not use Gaur Gum,Carrageenan or Cassia Gum in thier canned food which is what "I" believe to be the issue with the constant scratching of my dogs not the meat product of "chicken". They also do not use rice or white potatoe in thier dry dog food which I believe was the issue for my finicky stomach dog who couldn't digest them. All 4 of my dogs love both the dry and canned and I can switch flavors with no issues at all!! I run a dog rescue and promote healthy eating for dogs and highly recommmend Natures Instinct food and Chewy.com too!!

Great for the most particular dog!
From the beginning my border collies loved the rabbit dry food. Now we are not out hunting rabbits.

my guys love it
I use this food as a supplement to raw food. The size is perfect for my small dogs and I feel good giving them a grain free product

My dogs LOVE this food!
One of my English Springers has severe allergies...she loves the Instinct Rabbit Food and it doesn't aggravate her condition.

Great for dogs with allergies
I was able to switch from a more expensive rabbit based product that I purchased from a veterinary hospital to this one.
My only disappointment with this one is that there are a lot of ingredients beyond rabbit, such as chicken fat, salmon meal, and freeze dried pork liver. Most people switch to rabbit because of allergies. One of my dogs is highly allergic to chicken. We seem to be doing okay with this, but I might need to switch to the Rabbit Limited Diet.

It's a Hit!
I first looked into this food after my picky eater wouldn't touch raw, I wanted her to get some benefits of a healthy raw diet and Nature's Variety seemed like a good place to start. I like that they use wild caught rabbits and have high standards for their foods. The price is comparable, especially since this one contains more rabbit than others and isn't full of potatoes or grains. So far my Chihuahua Terrier mix has done really well on it, the bites are big enough she chews them but not too big for her small mouth. The added probiotics are a big plus for her tricky digestive system and we had no issues with adding this to her food rotation, overall great product!

She loves it and it is good for my dog.
It was time to rotate my dachshunds food and she was previously eating NV Instinct Raw Boost chicken formula and loved it. Went to reviews on dog food advisor trying to get a 5 star food. Never has had rabbit, but didn't hesitate eating it. We had tried raw food diet, but neither one of my dogs was that fond of it and I didn't want to force feed them!! They need to enjoy their food and now they do.

Quality dog food
My 7.5 year old pug Huey had allergies to chicken based food (apparently chicken is not the ideal protein for pugs). Nature's Variety was recommended to me as a food that is widely available and as a brand that offers varying proteins. After 6 months on the rabbit with the occasional salmon and veal switch out, Huey's allergies seem to have subsided. While Huey's potty schedule changed from twice daily to as many times as we could go out, and there were accidents in the house, due to the food's fortification with probiotic bacteria, the schedule returned after a couple of months. Great product!
