Rated 4.8 out of 5 by 30 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great part of a rotational diet My three dogs love this food. One of my dogs has severe food allergies. It can be difficult to find food he can and will eat that is wholesome and isn't too expensive to feed to all three dogs. March 18, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very nutrious food I have a very picky female Border Collie that's 9 months old. I feed on calories and not on volume. This is an excellent dry food that doesn't upset her stomach, full of nutrients and vitamins she needs being on an LID. Definitely recommend this food to anyone with dogs that have sensitive stomachs and allergies. February 11, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Save on Vet Bills!!! I have an Alaskan Malamute, she's about 85lbs and the vet said that she was going to have to go on antibiotics for the rest of her life. I had already been looking at foods and we had tried several good brands but it turns out she's allergic or intolerant to chicken, eggs, turkey, and lamb. This was a money saver, plain and simple. You think the cost of the food is high (it is, at a bag per month) but when you compare it to a $150.00 vet visit with meds very month or every other month, plus the distress she was in...it was literally the runs going on 5 days and she had one bowl of this food and she was solid the next morning, we were amazed. If you think your baby has allergies this is one of the best single protein/carb foods out there. If you just can't afford the cost of this food then my next best suggestion would be Zignature. She now gets a mix of the Instinct Duck and the Zignature Trout. December 1, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Quality Product While I can't offer you a first hand account of nature's variety's taste, flavor profile, texture, or desirability, I can, with confidence, state that my dog's love it. I have two (2) samoyed puppies (6 mo. & 9 wks.) and they become remarkably excited prior to feeding. While that, in itself, is not remarkable, I have never quite seen the level of anticipation of receiving food. I had prior had five (5) samoyed's who, by history, can be particular around food. Nature's Variety has consistently been well received by both of my current puppies and I expect that they will continue to enjoy this brand going forward. I strongly recommend this dog food. Rated 5 out of 5 by Happy Pitty My poor 5-month APBT was scratching constantly and losing hair in patches around her body. I tried a grain-free food, which helped, but not completely, so I went to this fully limited-ingredient food. Her hair completely grew back in a week/week-and-a-half, and she is so soft and shiny :) She also doesn't scratch anymore. Our other dog, who can tolerate regular food, steals a few bites from time to time and he loves it so much he doesn't want to touch his normal food. Sorry, buddy. I can't afford to have both of you on the special food ;) Highly recommend this for dogs prone to skin issues. No need for additional fish oil or probiotics, or expensive Rx shampoos at the vet. Just get this food :) December 2, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by MY DOG LOVES THIS FOOD !!!!! My pug has suffered from skin problems all her life. She is now 4 years old. I have tried every food out there and this was my last shot to see if her skin would clear up. She is always covered in rashes and pimples with major hair loss. She has been eating this food for 11 days now and I already see a difference in her skin. Her pimples and rashes are starting to go away. She loves this food and it is really helping her skin. Thanks chewy and natures variety instinct for a great product!!!! December 7, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Super Service, Great selection, Excellent price Very impressive with the selection of products, the price and the Customer Service.A+ November 28, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Quality Food! Great choice for my SHAR-PEI. She has some allergies and the hypoalligenic really makes the difference in this food. We have tried every brand and type of food including limited ingredient and grain free recipes to no avail. I was so happy when we discovered Natures Variety Grain Free L.I. Duck Meal. Not only does my dog love the food (but then again he loves everything), but he has not had a single reaction. The kibble is really small too so it is great for small dogs. His stool is good too, which can always be a concern when trying new foods. Last,I know the brand name has been rated high by oher professional dog food reviewers so it is good to know that I'm giving my dog a quality dog food. November 14, 2014
