Rated 5 out of 5 by bonclaire3 This product is excellent for a dog who is allergic to many foods
Our chocolate lab is 3 years old and was to the point of having no hair on both of her sides, around mouth, and lost patches other places and having constant ear infections so after having her tested for allergies we ordered this food and has she ever changed for the better! Her fur is back beautiful and shiny, no ear infections, and she loves the food. Most dog foods has flaxseeds in it and that's one of many things our lab is allergic to. This product does not and one she can eat! Chewy is a top notch business who has the quickest delivery I've experienced, sometimes we've received our order in two days. Great company and will always order from them! Thank You

Rated 5 out of 5 by Carbocko Tasty, stool-firming food
I've tried a number of foods to try to reduce the very soft stools of my dog. Several high quality natural foods didn't do the trick. Next stop - a limited ingredient food. I wasn't looking for a grain-free but I did a lot of research and this food received so many high ratings. We started with the lamb and then added the duck for variety. My dog loves the taste and the poops are now firm. Sometimes too firm which seems to be a side effect of any grain-free food. So a few spoonfuls of pureed pumpkin a day and we're all happy. No more daily butt baths:)

Rated 5 out of 5 by Pugranch Our Pug loves this Food
When our pug developed allergies we went on the search for a limited ingredient dog food. After comparing different brands, this one really seemed to fit what we were looking for. So far so good. She loves the food, even excited to receive it as a training reward. After being on this food for a month she has a glossy coat and the hair has grown back on her toes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by BBVA My dog enjoys his meals
My dog suffered from frequent bouts of vomiting. He would eat grass in the morning just to be able to throw up. This food has solved his problem. His coat is beautiful and no more vomiting.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Bigfeet Save on Vet Bills!!!
I have an Alaskan Malamute, she's about 85lbs and the vet said that she was going to have to go on antibiotics for the rest of her life. I had already been looking at foods and we had tried several good brands but it turns out she's allergic or intolerant to chicken, eggs, turkey, and lamb.
This was a money saver, plain and simple. You think the cost of the food is high (it is, at a bag per month) but when you compare it to a $150.00 vet visit with meds very month or every other month, plus the distress she was in...it was literally the runs going on 5 days and she had one bowl of this food and she was solid the next morning, we were amazed.
If you think your baby has allergies this is one of the best single protein/carb foods out there. If you just can't afford the cost of this food then my next best suggestion would be Zignature. She now gets a mix of the Instinct Duck and the Zignature Trout.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Wheatens They love it!
Quick transition from old food to LID - no stomach upset! Less "waste" which is a good thing when you have 4 dogs.
Having 2 dogs with persistent skin problems, LID was the way to go (not doing raw!) They all enjoy the food, much more so than Taste of the Wild.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Fiona10 I really like the limited ingredients !!
Our 4 year old Border Terrier was having severe itching problems so our daughter who breeds & shows dog and knows a great deal about them brought us a bag of Natures's Variety limited ingredients diet duck meal
formula and we starting feeding her that & only that, the itching stopped within a week and she stopped losing hair. Our Vet agreed that it was a smart move. We were so happy to learn about Chewy. Thank you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by jsundauist My dog loves it, and thrives on it!
My Boxer/Retriever mix puppy was recently tested for food allergies, and Duck is one of the few protein sources he is able to have. With also being allergic to carbohydrate sources such a potatoes, chickpeas, and lentils, it has been tough to find a formula of good, higher-quality food for him to eat.
I'm so glad I looked into Nature's Variety because he's been doing awesome on it. He's not a particularly picky dog, but he really does seem to love the taste, and is always excited for meal time. The ingredient list is one that works perfectly for his allergies, and it's a company that I feel comfortable feeding to my little guy.
