Customer Ratings & Reviews

Rated 4.9 out of 5 by 20 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Fussy Eater I rescued a small dog in June. He is a sweet heart but I have had problems with him eating. He is eight years old and was left at a shelter by a previous owner who could no longer keep him. He was then "rescued" and was in a home with several other dogs before I adopted him. There was no way for me to know his eating habits --- plus he had just had several teeth pulled. I tried several other very high quality dog foods and he just didn't like any of them --- until I found Prairie Lamb & Oatmeal. We have another dog in the house who is 14 yrs. old. When I brought the Prairie home both dogs immediately loved it! I'm so happy that my little guy is finally thriving and the older dog is doing very well also. Great product!! October 15, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Alternative to Chicken My 3 year old Catahoula has issues with chicken and it has been difficult finding something with good ingredients that doesn't have chicken fat in it. He loves this food, his coat looks great, and he has had no stomach issues with this food at all! I bought my first bag at Petsmart but then they discontinued it in the 27# bags. I hope this doesn't mean that this will be discontinued here, too. Thank you for a great food. My furry kids are worth it! April 18, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by My picky dog loves it! My golden retriever has lots of food allergies and I've had trouble finding a dry food that she likes. Well, now I've found one. She really likes it and it's good for her. What more could I ask for? March 3, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Raquel loves it! I've tried several varieties of Nature's Variety dry dog food, initially the grain-free varieties of duck, chicken, and rabbit. My dog loved them all but she has a fast metabolism so I tried the lamb with oatmeal and the oatmeal seems to work best for her to slowly absorb the food. Great line of dog foods. February 23, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Top quality delivered to your door!!! When you can get the best product, at the best price, delivered TO YOUR DOOR for is that anything but a no-brainer??? When my wife can easily pick up the almost-empty dog food bag, I place an order and it is on my doorstep the day before we need the new bag. Perfectly wrapped, fresh, same stuff we'd pay more for in any store. THANK YOU! January 17, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by great product Food is a little expensive, but worth it. I have been using it for several months and all my dogs' coats have greatly improved and made weight management easier. February 6, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great quality dog food from a great company ! This dog food gets high ratings from almost every independent dog food reviews on the web. You don't need to spend any more money to take care of your best friend. I have used it for years and my Goldens have a great shiny coat and very healthy ! January 18, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good product/miss the duck and oatmeal NV is no longer producing duck and oatmeal so thought the lamb and oatmeal would do just as well. Not sure it is this but both of my dogs started having itchy ears. My one GSD has had ear issues since he was a puppy, not tolerating chicken or beef and I think now, not lamb either. It was worth a try, NV is a good product. Will have to try another brand with duck to see if it is the lamb that is causing the problem. November 13, 2015
