Customer Reviews

Rated 4.8 out of 5 by 41 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent service, products, and prices We are just transitioning to Nutro Natural Choice Wholesome Essentials Chicken, Whole Brown Rice & Oatmeal Formula Dry Dog Food, so will know more in a month on it, but our 14-year-old Lab likes it. We were considering that it was time to say goodbye after 12+ years, but I found Vets' Best and NUPRO products on Chewy.com. We have been using NUPRO Joint Supplement for a few months, and Vets' Best Pain tablets, as she was having a great deal of problems - like us - getting up after lying around. She now can jog to the back of the yard to do her business again. We may even be able to cut back on the NUPRO a bit, as Nutro Senior has glucosamine/ chondroitin in it, also. What I really like, though, is the prompt service that Chewy provides. I have never had the service that this company provides from any other on-line site. I needed to cancel an auto-shipment, and a real person answered the phone on the first ring, and it was taken care of promptly. Ship quickly, to our door. Love it! December 29, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good for senior dogs This is the brand I always buy for my senior dogs. Chewy prices better than Wag & service just as good! I've already told my friends. May 20, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent food My 7 yr old dog was having problems with her coat shedding excessively. I switched to this food now her coat is beautiful her shedding is down to normal. She is a fussy eater but likes this food . May 18, 2016

Rated 4 out of 5 by Easy chew The holes in the kibble are easier on the old dog. March 29, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good as always I've always had confidence in Nutro products. My dogs' coats are always shiny and they have no digestion problems. Chewy shipped fast, competitive price, packed well. March 14, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Same Dog food found in local store but cheaper & Delivered to you My wife takes care of our dogs and buys their food. I usually gripe when they need it half way between paydays, and costs close to 90$ with dog food and treats. My other issue is that she has bad knees and has to wrestle the dry food off the store shelf, into the van, then from the van to the house. With Chewy the exact same food and treats were almost 20$ cheaper, and delivered to our front door. My wife was worried about it being delivered in the rain, but the carrier put the box in a plastic bag and the food stayed dry. Only suggestion: It is never fun moving a 30lb bad of dog food from the front door to kitchen, but the box the food comes in is cumbersome. If the box had some kind of handhold or carrying strap it would be easier for us to move it. December 27, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by wholesome & nutritious Our 14.5 year old lab has eaten Nutro Foods since he was a puppy-he is healthy and still relatively active despite his aging body. We attribute it to the great nutrition and obvious good taste of these foods. Additives like glucosamine and chondroitin in the adult food, and the easy to digest older formula have made this literally our life-long brand of choice. February 21, 2016
