Rated 5 out of 5 by Lovemydog DOG CONTINUES TO LOVE THIS
He loves to chew on it, he loves to play "hockey" with it, batting it around with his paw and pouncing on it.

It is too easy for a diehard chewer to bite to pieces.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Doggymomx2 GREAT for 'Power Chewers'!
I buy these for my Miniature Australian Shepherd who LOVES to chew on them! She has really strong jaws and loves to chew - food, bones, you name it, but these keep her busy and focused on what she should be chewing on! I recommend them for anyone who has a powerful chewer on their hands!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by red2005 great for heavy chewers
used to buy these for my dog from the pet store. they stopped carrying them. only chew toys that I found that will last my dog over a week. 1 bone will last her about a month. only annoying thing are the little pieces that break off but better then big pieces breaking off and your dog swallowing them.

My 9-month old dog loves to chew so I purchased several shapes of Nylabones and she loves them all. These are very long-lasting and easy for her to pick up.

My pup is an avid nyla bone chewer. It takes her quite some time to get thru this bone and she loves it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Audhumla Not for recommended by Nylabone for most dogs
This is made of nylon and rubber, so it is in the category of "non-edible" and shouldn't be given to dogs with permanent teeth according to Nylabone's own guidelines. Most dogs they have at least some permanent teeth by 5 months, so don't buy this for a dog older than this. Which brings me to my second problem. I bought "medium" because it was the size recommended for her. It is way too large and awkward for her, and she is a master chewer. So, this size is only for the very largest of very young puppies. I will take mine to the animal shelter.
