Bought the Souper size because our dogs can chew through nearly any toy. It was a perfect size for them and the shape was easy for them to pick up and carry around. They all chewed for nearly 45 minutes when they first got the ring.
Nylabone brand is the only one I would recommend for powerful chewers such as mastiffs.

Rated 2 out of 5Â by Audhumla Only for very large, very young puppies
This is made of nylon and rubber, so it is in the category of "non-edible" and shouldn't be given to dogs with permanent teeth according to Nylabone's own guidelines. Most dogs they have at least some permanent teeth by 5 months, so don't by this for a dog older than this. Which brings me to my second problem. I bought "medium" because it was the size recommended for her. It is huge! And very heavy. So this size is only for the very largest of very young puppies. I will take mine to the animal shelter.

Rated 5 out of 5 Both Chihuahas LOVE this
Both my chihuahuas (mother and daughter) are rescues and the foster home gave us one of these when we adopted them. Both dogs, both quite young, LOVE this toy and it is their absolute favorite. Since I only had one from the foster home, I purchased two extras for when they sometimes fight over who gets it, and if one goes missing under the couch. It's also a handy way to get the dogs to settle down - I hand them the toy and they focus on chewchewchewing. They toys have held up well to the hours and hours of chewing, and it's kept their teeth in good shape.

Rated 3 out of 5Â by GoldensKeeper My Golden Retriever loves it, but......
I specifically bought this X-large chew bone for my 50 lb+ dog hoping he wouldn't be able to chew bits from the ends. This was not so. I believe the chew bone isn't stronger for dogs 50 lbs+, it's just larger which doesn't eliminate the frayed plastic like ends after chewing. The frayed ends didn't develope over time, they developed the first day. I bought several Nylabone DuraChew toys for dogs 50 lbs+, hopefully, I won't be disappointed with each one. By the way, my dog is a 9 month, 70#, Golden Retriever.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by Amanda123 Very durable
We have a GSP who is a very aggressive chewer and this is finally one toy that she can't destroy in 5 minutes. There are multiple surfaces that she can chew on, so it lasts a lot longer than other designs.

Our two dogs take turns, when one sets it down, the other picks it up. Their favorite thing to chew. It seems very durable, too.
