Orijen Adult Grain-Free Dry Dog Food Customer Reviews

Orijen Adult Grain-Free Dry Dog Food 4.8 5 591 591
great dog food I have two small dogs with highly sensitive stomachs. They would vomit at least once or twice a week. I was looking for a completely grain and gluten free food for them. I read the reviews on this food and gave it a try. They both took a few days to get used to it but I added about 2 tbs of raw beaten egg and they ate it up in no time. Now they are eating it dry and are eating less and their stools are firm again. They tend to be overeaters so this is good. I love the fact that I have the option to auto ship so now I will have their food on hand all the time. June 2, 2013
Lower cost than typical supermarket brands dry food Switched from other premium to Orijen due to better reviews by acredited institutions and my own research. We're just about half way through first bag so I can't really say much other than Skip seems to like it better than the old brand and her coat seem silkier. One thing I do want to say at this early point is that, in my opinion, many people don't realize that premium dry dog food is more cost effective than the typical supermarket variety. For example: Purina One costs in the average about $1.44/lb while Orijen is about $2.27/lb but.... since you have to feed twice as much of the Purina, Orijen ends up costing significantly less - check it out and do the math. My senior dogs are flourishing I have a lab mix and a hound mix, each about 13 yrs. old. Incontinence issues cleared up when I switched them to Orijen. Food is so good, I buy it for my cats too! October 15, 2012
Great Product After the food I was feeding my dogs was recalled, I went searching for a dog food I felt comfortable feeding them. I love this product. It is a bit expensive, but I love the ingredient list and my dogs love it. Their coats are great, they don't chew as much on their paws and I have noticed that one of mine that gets ear infections a lot is not getting them like she used to. May 20, 2012
Orijen makes for good stool Started feeding this to my Dobie and Plott Hound, along with a scoop of very good quality canned food, and they eat it right up. After 30 pounds of Orijen, nobody is vomitting and their stool is of perfect texture and not at all smelly. Nice brown tone too. Also, no flatulence (except when we have company for dinner). The best of the best! Orijen is a product of Canada. The factory does not outsource. The chicken is free range. Everything is delivered to the factory fresh, not frozen. Dog food is vacuum packed for freshness. September 17, 2012
You have to appreciate their effort I have a white shepherd that was a rescue. I can buy 30 pounds of lean beef for 84 dollars, 30 pounds of chicken breasts for $68 and a five pound bag of frozen normandy vegetables with two types of squash, carrots, broccoli and cauliflower for $2.50. My dog prefers my cooking but I supplement with Orijens adult formula to make sure he has access to vitamins and calcium that he needs. Occasionally I put cooked brown rice in with his food but I like that the Orijens is grain free and I especially like their attention to quality products. You have to appreciate the effort the people put into feeding my dog as well as I do. If they were cheaper I would probably cook for him less. And THAT is about as honest a review as you can get. There is no better food for your dog! Orijen has the highest fat and protein content of any dog food. It may be pricey, but your dog eats less and defecates less. This is the food used by K9 cops. My Service German Shepherds eat this only and their coats are shiny and soft and they are free of health problems. Mr. Chewy packs the food in boxes and delivers to your door. February 14, 2012
