Rated 5 out of 5 by PamelaJJ60 Awesome & Functional
This is our second Pet Gear Generation II Soft Crate, the first one works so well, when we added a second Doberman to the family, it was only natural to add a second Pet Gear Generation II Soft Crate as well.
Our dogs travel with us and these crates are simply the best when it comes to portability and convenience. Fold them up and they take up very little room, when we get to our destination, set them up and our Dobermans have a safe and ventilated place to hang out.
Roomy and ease of access played a big part in our decision to purchase the Pet Gear Generation II Soft Crate. With three access points this crate can fit into virtually any space and your dog can be accessible.
Simply put, we love our Pet Gear Generation II Soft Crates almost as much as we love our Dobermans.

Rated 5 out of 5 by WoodstockNani1 Nice item - but is it suited to your purpose
It's constructed well, with durable materials, has openings on the top, side and front. The zipper openings roll up and attach to velcro. The item collapes and stores easily and the storage pouches are ample. I leave it open and the cat enjoys going in to sleep and play. I was looking for something to use to take an average size cat to the vet and this is too big. It doesn't have anything to tie it down with in the car and there is no storage pouch for the item itself but that's the only negative. Pull out your tape measure and get an actual idea of the size to be sure it suites your purpose. If you're a cat show person, this is very nice.

We purchased 2 of these for our cats as a more comfortable travel option than hard crates. We set them up in the back seat and the cats really enjoyed them. They use the top for sleep (with a blanked under them) like a hammock. They like going in and out of the zippered doors.
They are not secure. One of the cats was able to open the zippered door and escape! So don't leave them unattended, or latch the zipper pulls together.
They are not made for carrying. The bottom is not stiff, so the the cat will sink in the middle should you pick it up. It's hard to pick it up since there is no carry handles or straps anyway.
So although they were nice for travel, they won't work as carriers to go to the vet, for example.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Sandy Nice crate
Bought this crate for auto travel and carrying our English lab, Cooper. He's only 13 weeks so plenty of room for him to grow into it. Durable enough for car trips and overnights, he seems very comfy in it. Cleans up good.

Bought this for my new puppy. He loves it and I love the top entrance. It makes it so easy to refill his water. Perfect for what I wanted. I'm sure I'll be using the attached bags for travel!

Rated 4 out of 5 by AgilityBCs Pretty nice crate
Ordered this crate as I wanted something more durable than my previous pop up crates for my BC. Set up easily and was lighter weight than I was expecting. Wasn't keen on the pad that come with it, so will need to purchase an alternative. Show season will tell how it holds up, but so far I'm pleased.
