Rated 5 out of 5 by Arktos I LOVE TRIPETT!
(But I wouldn't eat it! (-: ) Tripett is REAL dog food. It's gross for humans: tripe?! Guts!? But dogs and cats LOVE it: In the wild the first thing a predator eats is the intestines and stomach of its prey because most of the nutrients are there. Tripett has provided us with that same food for our carnivorous pets. And there's a great selection: lamb, bison, beef, venison, and a duck-salmon-beef tripe blend. My Frenchies love it. This is not made for humans to like, as are so many brands with names like "Sunday Brunch" and "Family Dinner"; they want YOU to drool so you buy it. Your dog and cat want something different. Tripett is IT. It's stinky and sometimes even gross, and I am very grateful that someone had the sense to make it into pet food. I will always feed my dogs Tripett.

by GoingWest Like they say "Great for Picky Eaters"
I have a pack of VERY picky eaters. I've tried everything on them, except cheap, grainy stuff. Lots of money spent on the best dry foods, canned foods, too. I could have paid for the "dream trip of a lifetime" or at least a new Mercedes....with what I was spending on my picky eaters. Then I got a case of this Tripett New Zealand Green Lamb Tripe. I split up the can amongst all the dogs, mixing it with a high quality dry and they are WOLFING down their food. Happy, happy dogs at last!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by kimocare The ease of canned tripe is great!
I had a pup shipped to me for training and she was refusing food but LOVES the Tripe that her owner sent down with her. Unable to find the product locally so glad I've found Chewy.com!!

My dogs absolutely love the lamb tripe. I mix it in is food. The smell is not the best but I thought it would be worse. I will buy more and recommend this to everyone.

Rated 4 out of 5 by LG2000 Good for dogs who need a low phosphorus diet
I ordered this food because tripe is supposed to be good for dogs, and it is very low in phosphorus; one of my dogs has chronic kidney failure, and has to be on a low phosphorus diet.
My dog is also old and picky, and was starting to refuse her prescription canned food. The Tripett solved that problem, she loves it, and has been scarfing it down at every meal. It contains twice as much protein as her prescription food which is great! It does look and smell bad but whatever, I dont have to eat it. My only complaint is that the food separated in the cans, so all of the fat/jelly is at the top of the can, and all of the meat is on the bottom.
My other dog loves the Tripett too, so I will definitely buy again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Georgie1 Wonderful for IBD dogs
This is unbleached lamb tripe fresh from the lamb. It is a wonderful food for puppies and dogs with sensitive stomachs. It is highly digestible and aids in digestion. Plus - it is just lamb tripe, no weird additional ingredients like marigold flowers or bovine plasma. New Zealand treats their sheep right as well.
You can use this to hide pills and your dog will leap for them. Now when I open the pill bottle for my IBD dog she runs to the kitchen for her "treat." She used to hide.
Use it as a supplement or extra meal.
