PetSafe Pawz Away Indoor Pet Barrier

Whether they're keeping paws off the carpet or noses out of the trash, pet parents fight an uphill battle with curious cats and dogs. The Pawz Away Indoor Pet Barrier from PetSafe helps by emitting a high-pitched tone and safe, static correction whenever a pet crosses the invisible barrier defined by the sleek, nonobtrusive transmitter. The included collar uses a progressive static to safely associate certain areas with an unexpected correction that reminds pets there are better places to play.

Key Benefits

  • For dogs and cats 5 pounds and up, or for neck sizes 6-28"
  • For indoor use only
  • Range adjustable from 2 to 12 feet in diameter
  • Progressive Static Correction- begins at the lowest level and increases to maximum in 3 seconds
  • Time Out- collar stops delivering correction after 15 seconds
  • Lightweight, waterproof receiver collar and compact transmitter
  • Transmitter uses 3 AA batteries (not included); receiver collar uses two 3-Volt lithium batteries (included)
  • Add Extra Indoor Pet Barriers and Extra Indoor/Outdoor Collars for any number of pets and protected areas

Easy to operate. Great for destructive or strong-willed dogs. This product has dramaticaly changed my dogs behavior while I'm away from the house. (5 year old pitbull) December 2, 2013
This product works well. Wonderful product. Seems to work well to keep my dog out of areas we don't want him in. Works well if you need help to potty train them if they like to sneak to bed room to do their duty. November 19, 2013
Will not work on very stubborn dogs I have a one year old coonhound that has forced me to buy endless training products on the market. I had high hopes for this one, but my dog just does not care about the shock he gets (and it is quite a shock because I tried it myself). I have found that he also does not respect a remote training electrical collar so my advice is that if you have a dog that either does not respect electric collars, or cannot connect the dots enough to realize that a shock is a punishment for something, I would avoid this product.
