Rated 1 out of 5 by What you see is not what you get So they show you an antler with lots of marrow. The dogs love the marrow. There is no point in getting these antlers unless they are split so that the dogs can see and get the marrow. What they sent was one decent bone and one with perhaps 1" of a little bit of marrow (basically the tip of an antler, pretty much no marrow). You can choose better antlers at any local pet store. At least you will know what you are getting. May 14, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love it My two G Pyres love this dog chew. I had them try a buffalo horn and they did chew on it, but the moment this came in the mail the buffalo horn was obsolete! Doesn't break, or splinter so far. April 13, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Great for chewing This one was great but I've got some strong chewers and this one did not hold up very long. The split antlers always seem to go quicker. April 11, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Moose is the best antler choice I have 3 golden retrievers ranging from puppy to older adult. I have given them just about every kind of antler available, and they will go for the moose antler before anything else including bones. I like it for many reasons. For one, it's completely odorless. Two, it's softer than any other antler type and is much less likely to cause your dog to crack a molar which can happen quite easily with harder antler types if your dog is a hard chewer..It also has more nutrients in it than other antler types due to the moose's diet. It doesn't last as long as other antler types, and this depends on how hard of a chewer your dog is, but it's much safer for your animals than other antler types, and it's better for them. Moose antler is much softer than other types, especially the "paddle" part of the antler. It can be as thin as 1/4" and as thick as 1" or more. It softens as your dog chews on it unlike other antler and my dogs prefer to keep chewing on the soft end of the piece until it's gone. The antler spikes from the moose are harder than the paddle part and will last longer than the paddle part of a moose antler. Moose antler is highly digestible and it doesn't splinter like other antler types and bones can making it much safer for your dog. It doesn't form sharp spikes like some of the popular nylon bones do and it helps keep your dog's teeth and gums clean and healthy. Any way you look at it, moose antler is much safer and better for your dog as compared to bones and other antler types. It's more nutritious, safer, doesn't stink, won't splinter, is highly digestible and keeps teeth and gums healthy. What more can you ask for! No matter what size your dog is or how hard they chew, moose antler is the best choice! January 28, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by great, safe antler...and long lasting! My greyhound loves to chew on this antler again and again. Everything else we tried was either too soft or too full of chemicals etc. This antler is great as she remains interested in it and we don't have smell anything stinky or worry if it is safe. Couldn't recommend enough! And this is the best price we found for it anywhere. January 26, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by for Giant dogs, buyer beware In defense of the product the description states, " Prairie Dog antlers are sized by weight, so the overall length and thickness will vary." I have a Giant breed dog so I ordered jumbo. The product shipped was a triangle shape with a 4 inch base. I will not give to my dog in fear he will shallow it whole! Product was clean, shipment quick and customer service wonderful. Normally I would be very happy I am sure the weight is jumbo, but size matters when you have a big dog. If you have a Giant breed dog, I would not purchase this product. Medium dog, I wouldn't hesitate. September 4, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Keeping my dog happy for hours! Both of my dogs are big chewers and will go through an antler in a few hours. I am very happy to report that they both loved these; and they've survived a whole week already! Will definitely purchase again. November 2, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Everything About this Product is Pawsitively Positive It seems the moose antler variety is the preferred antler of choice for Miss Vivi, Golden Retriever. She enjoys the extra large moose antler. It is nice that this product comes in different sizes. Now her top and bottom teeth are whiter, including around the gums where before it would look yellow. With this product, there's no mess on her paws or on the carpet and no odor. Most important, it is a healthy choice and the antler does not splinter. I know she is happily getting some extra calcium and minerals through a natural source. I trust this product will make any dog a happy chewer. We will be buying Moose antlers as gifts to all of our dawgie friends this Holiday season. There really is no other better chew than Moose that we know of. July 8, 2014
