Rated 4 out of 5 by Radtech42 Product quality not the same
My cats love primal freeze dried foods and I would HIGHLY recommend them. I feed my cats their dog food as it contains organs and gives them all the nutrition and vitamins they need. Plus, the dog food has more variety than the cat food line. What I don't like, and why I canceled my autoship order with Chewy, is that the nuggets are very hard and crumbly. When I buy this product in a local store, the nuggets are soft and easily soaks up water. The expiration date or best by date is valid and still good, but the food must have been stored incorrectly or shipped in temperatures not ideal for this food. My cats don't eat it as readily either when it's stale like this. I am going to purchase from another online store and see if I have the same problem.

This product did not look and feel the same as previously purchased bag from a store. Not sure which one was right

Both of my little ones, Maltese Yorkie mix and Pomeranian Yorkie mix, enjoy this and the other Primal Nuggets which are mixed with their Blue Wilderness dried food. Add a little warm water to release the scent, and they are in heaven. No more finicky eaters.

We were using Stella & Chewy's as a topper or to flavor bait water for our canine athletes until Chewy's quit carrying it. We switched to this and the dogs love it.
We find one cube easily crumbled into the bowl with some water to mix then their kibble works great as a mixer. The bowls are always left clean. A couple of cubes crumbled and mixed with up to two cups of water works as a great hydration tool. The dogs generally consume the entire 2 cups. These are medium sized dogs, 50-70lbs and I have six of them. They all love it.

I saw a review for this site and this brand on YouTube and decided to check it out. The packaging is nice and didn't require a chainsaw to open like some dog foods do. The ingredients listed are all natural and I love that it's American made.
Opening the bag: Apparently I was under the delusion that 'turkey' would overpower 'sardine', but it kind of smelled like they had managed to hide the fisherman in there after he had rolled around in dead fish and neglected to shower for several days. Thankfully, that was just a one time deal. The dog didn't mind it.
Preparation is simple and only takes a few moments. Which would be ideal for taking on backpacking trips as it's lightweight and requires very little water to rehydrate. I mix it in with his regular food (which he picks at) and he eats the whole dish every time. The only downside is that it doesn't last very long when you have a large dog, especially if that's the only thing you're feeding them. Other tham that it's an awesome product.

This food was too touch for my small dog to chew. The chicken is a softer product and easier for him to chew and digest. This would be good for larger dogs w/ stronger jaws to break up and chew.
