Primal Turkey & Sardine Formula Nuggets Freeze-Dried Dog Food Customer Reviews

Primal Turkey & Sardine Formula Nuggets Freeze-Dried Dog Food 4.9 5 15 15
My dog inhalers this stuff I saw a review for this site and this brand on YouTube and decided to check it out. The packaging is nice and didn't require a chainsaw to open like some dog foods do. The ingredients listed are all natural and I love that it's American made. Opening the bag: Apparently I was under the delusion that 'turkey' would overpower 'sardine', but it kind of smelled like they had managed to hide the fisherman in there after he had rolled around in dead fish and neglected to shower for several days. Thankfully, that was just a one time deal. The dog didn't mind it. Preparation is simple and only takes a few moments. Which would be ideal for taking on backpacking trips as it's lightweight and requires very little water to rehydrate. I mix it in with his regular food (which he picks at) and he eats the whole dish every time. The only downside is that it doesn't last very long when you have a large dog, especially if that's the only thing you're feeding them. Other tham that it's an awesome product. May 18, 2014
This product is organic and healthy for your dog. I have been using Sojos for quite some time and have been pleased. April 12, 2014
Dog loves it! My Doberman recently started on heart medication and lost her appetite. She has some food sensitivities so I try to avoid chicken, grains, and potatoes, so options were limited. As soon as I opened this bag she was interested. It is expensive to feed as the sole dog food for a larger dog, I use this as an topping to her existing food and it has worked out great. Healthy and convenient I switched to the Primal Freeze Dried Formula from Chewy Freeze Dried since I noticed my Papillion was suffering from continued bouts of diarrhea. So far it has been cleared up ever since the switch. I used to feed him Primal frozen raw, but since I travel with him quite a lot, the freeze dried is so much more convenient. September 3, 2014
My dog loves this! I will never be without it! My dog loves this and I will never be without it again! August 15, 2014
easy to feed. trying this freeze dried product for the 1st time.. The dog like it very much.. it would be good as treats with water added but to feed my sons Boxer it would be too expensive.. June 30, 2014
Excellent dog food. My rescue small breed chihuahua wouldn't eat dog food but she gobbles this right up! April 29, 2014
Primal is the best! I already wrote a lengthy review for the beef version. Lucy eats from most of the Primal varieties. Turkey and Sardine is another one of her favorites. I also like feeding her this variety since it's a mix of two meats. The only thing I don't like (and like at the same time) about it is that the blocks break easily. This is great when it's feeding time but it's not great for proportions. By the end of the bag, there are lots of broken blocks and crumbs, and I have to guesstimate the right amount to feed. Luckily, she's one of those dogs that don't eat everything in sight. She'll stop when she's done. April 29, 2014
