by dcBostonTerrier Difficult to tell if it is working
Purchased this product for our 3 dogs, as a more natural option. I used it 1-2 times, before the spray dispenser clogged, and now it won't spray. I noticed, looking at the product picture, the dispenser is larger, and more heavy duty. The one we received has a mini-dispenser, similar to a cosmetic product.
Chewy re-sent the product, now waiting to received it and re-write a more product specific review!

by TCDLA Really Works Great!
Samantha our Shar-pei does not do very well at all with the standard liquid flea treatment. She often becomes lethargic and cranky after treatment. I followed the advice of another reviewer and sprayed this on a towel and rubbed Sammie down after her bath. Shar-pei's have sensitive skin and are prone to irritation in their many wrinkles and folds. So far, so good! This seems to be very effective. I'll continue to monitor as a natural produce is something I prefer to using harsh chemicals.

by rmcg Seems to work very well and smells good as well
Bought this for our Dobe pup. Too early to tell if it is 100% effective but the kennel where we bought the pup is now going to use it as well. I like the idea that there are no pesticides.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Sparky76 I do not recommend this product.
For starters this product has a very strong smell, not necessarily a bad smell but it's definitely overbearing. I used the product as directed for my 3 dogs (applied it outside) and two days have passed and my entire house smells like it.
Also, my dogs are all short haired dogs so application was easy/didn't have to use a lot of it and all three are now very greasy....once again, two days after application so plenty of time has passed for it to dry. And one of my dogs is itching a little, but no redness or rashes seen. I am forced to give them all a bath to get this stuff off, so I don't even know if it works. Needless to say it's now in the garbage.
If you don't mind a ridiculously strong smell filling your whole house, and greasy dogs, then by all means buy this product. I certainly won't be buying it again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Ang22 Perfect alternative for flea/tick
I wanted a natural flea and tick spray that wouldn't cause my pup to breakout. This has been perfect. There is a pretty strong clove scent but I don't mind so that isn't an issue.

Rated 4 out of 5 by BudsMom Pleasant smell
I was looking for a more natural product for flea and tick control. I've used other natural products before but the smells were not as pleasant.
My only complaint is that it leaves the fur a bit oily.
I'm looking forward to seeing how it controls the bugs this summer.
Otherwise great product!

I'm so glad I found this! I haven't really used it for fleas yet but I'm sure it works well as I have "zapped" a bug or 2 that got into the house and that was that for them.
Actually, I use this as a calming spray as it works better than any "calming" spray I've tried. As my little dog gets older (10 yrs now), she seems to get more nervous, especially when she hears thunder. A special shirt for thunder worked the first couple of times, but then she figured if she put the shirt on, she was supposed to shake so that didn't work for very long.
When my first order for Richard's arrived, it was storming and I sprayed her to try out the product.
To my surprise, she calmed right down and went off to play with a toy. A little while later, she was sleeping peacefully. Now, when we hear thunder, I just spray a little in the air over her and breathe a sigh of relief. It really works well for us. I haven't seen any fleas, either, since that first time I sprayed her - more than a month ago.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Notjustpets This product works for humans too!
I have used Richards Organics for years. Not just on my pets but on myself (clothing, shoes, in my truck) it works great for us, no issues sensitivity wise and being a person who also was a pet sitter, walker back in PA, I use it faithfully on myself for I never wanted to bring unwanted critters home to my crew.
Just remember NO CATS it has neem oil and not good for kitties.
