Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Canine Hypoallergenic Hydrolyzed Protein Adult Canned Dog Food Customer Reviews

Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Canine Hypoallergenic Hydrolyzed Protein Adult Canned Dog Food 4.7 5 22 22
great food My dog Maggie has addisons disease which causes her bowel problems from time to time. My vet at UC Davis had recommended the Royal Canin HD dry and wet food. It really seems to keep her bowel issues under control. I am afraid to try anything else for she is doing really good now. She does take meds but, I really think the food does play a part in keeping it under control. I would definitely recommend this food. March 17, 2014
Vet recommended My dog was diagnosed with inflammatory bowel disease after more than four years of chronic vomiting, several vets and hospitals, unsuccessful diets, and thousands of dollars in vet bills. This is the only protein she can tolerate and she loves it! She especially likes the dry and canned food mixed together. A big thank you to Doc Alan Kirmayer at the Animal Hospital of Rye for recommending Canine Hypoallergenic HP food, for his compassion and extensive expertise. He diagnosed Sami's illness and established a treatment plan (with the right food) to help her heal. December 6, 2014
Hydrolyzed Protein Adult Canned Dog Food My Cinderella absolutely loves this food. She even prefers it to the snack crackers and will only eat the kibble if I mix it together! A big thumbs up! November 30, 2014
Good Friends, Great Food....HMMMM! Maddie thanks all of her friends at for all your help. She recently arrived in Florida to discover she's allergic to EVERYTHING she had to find a food to help her not itch. Thanks to Dr. Donna at My Pet's Hospital...we hope we've found that in Royal Canin. So as far as Maddie is concerned...Good Friends, Great Food...HMMMM...just another day in paradise! July 10, 2014
Good quality food My dog is very finickey, but once she had her stomach problems resolved she seems to love this food. We were worried that she would not eat it, but she wolfs it down and makes her bowl dance licking the last crumbs. June 20, 2014
My dog prefers it over the dry food. My dog has had serious digestive issues in the past years, after doing lots of tests and trying all novel ingredients the vet finally placed him on the Hydrolyzed protein dry food for small breeds and since then (over a year) everything as been getting better and better, but now my dog seems to be a little bored of the dry food so I decided to mix the can food with the dry one and he's eating it very well plus no digestive issues have occurred. Great Way to give him his Meds We use both the canned & dry food. The Canned is what Max gets his medication mix with. He loves it. November 6, 2013
Good choice My dog seems to love it and it doesn't make him sick. February 24, 2015
