Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Diabetic Formula Dry Dog Food 4.8 5 25 25
This product agrees with my dog. After turning up her nose at the prescription diet she got from the vet, I was frustrated and upset. She had to eat before I could give her insulin. The vet then prescribed the Royal Canin Diabetic dog food and she loves it. She is doing well on it. June 18, 2013
Recommended by My Dog's Vet for Controlling Diabetes This is the only way to go if your dog has diabetes. It is high in protein and low in carbohydrates to help control blood sugar. It arrived within three days of ordering. To order, you must have a prescription from your vet. October 12, 2013
This product is well suited to our dog's needs Thank you for carrying such an excellent product and for getting it here when you said you would. Thanks again . July 18, 2012
It's goood! Hi! This is Ginger! I am a 5 year old Yorkie Poo. I was recently diagnosed with diabetes because I am a cuddler & not very active! I love to eat! My Vet recommended that I switch to this food so I could live a healthier life! Guess what? It's working! My Vet told me what ever I am doing to keep it up! My blood sugar numbers were much better & I lost 2 pounds in 2 weeks! And the best part is that it taste soooo good! Yum! Yum! Thanks so much Royal Canin! Take it from this dog-I love my food but this makes eating healthy fun for us diabetics!! July 25, 2014
Diabetic formula? Please read the ingredients in this food. Diabetic formula? I think not, unless the manufacturer recommends this formula for those who would like to inflict diabetes on their dog. Of course, dogs are going to eat this, it is loaded with corn, and starches. It's doggie candy. It also has several other unhealthy ingredients. Even if it passes the doggie taste test, that does not make it healthy, just like humans, dogs want what taste good, not what is healthy. I cannot believe our vet recommended this food for our diabetic Schnauzer. July 15, 2014
Good for my diabetic dog My dog has good blood glucose readings and has since my vet changed her over to this food. The kibble is a good size for her and her 12.5 yr old teeth! June 15, 2012
Recommeded with "reservations" I usually like to recommend products that I have had a personal experience with and since I've not done that with Royal Canin Diabetic Dog food other than dishing out of the can or scooping from the bag, I can recommend with reservations from what I've observed. My 14-year-old Scottie has been diabetic for almost four years and just began this diet about two months ago in September. I'm so sorry we weren't doing it sooner. He has more energy and seems to feel better all around. I mix the dry with some canned Royal Canin Diabetic Dog food and he eats it better than almost anything he's ever eaten. If Hamish had thumbs, I'm sure he'd be giving this a big "thumbs up" rating. From that standpoint, I concur and do recommend! November 19, 2014
this product is just what the doctor ordered! Love the ease off ordering. Ships quickly. Product is fresh. October 13, 2014
