Rated 4.8 out of 5 by 50 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Thank goodness for this renal food. My two 3 year old cardigan corgis have just been diagnosed with renal failure due to congenital kidney dysplasia. They love the Royal Canin Renal Support wet food, which will hopefully prolong their lives. May 10, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Kidney foid He absolutely loves this, thank you Chewy for everything you do, I almost lost hppe April 30, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Sammie really liked it!!! Our 8 yr old havanese was diagnosed with a kidney problem and our vet she should eat a special diet and recommended Royal Canine. Sammie took to it right away - I even make little patties from it and bake them and use it as a treat. April 11, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome! This is yet another big hit from Royal Canin! I love that it is moist but not overly soupy or rich. My girl has a very sensitive tummy and this is one of her favorites. She has had no digestive issues with this product, seems to love the taste and I love that it has a calorie count high enough that I don't have to worry about mixing in dry food. April 6, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by The best of the renal foods. Our dog was recently diagnosed with kidney disease. We tried all the available wet dog foods for this and Royal Canin was the only one he liked. I do too. The other wet foods are hard as a rock and hard to break down, even in warm water. His last blood test showed improvement so Royal Canin Renal food it is! And I do love Chewy.com. Good prices, and the staff has GREAT sense of humor. Thanks guys. March 26, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good stuff! The dog that is supposed to eat this, jumps for joy when she sees me fixing it. She attacks it like she has never attacked any dog food before. Unfortunately, our other dog loves it to, creating some "alpha dog" competition. It does appear to lead to a slight degree of diarrhea. That is not pleasant. February 3, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Chewy is great Yes we recommend this food if your vet prescribes it. The Chewy prices are excellent and the delivery is so convenient. No worry about finding specialty food in stock or forgetting to pick it up. We also get our feral cat food thru Chewy. All critters are happy and well fed thanks to the auto delivery. Rated 5 out of 5 by Miracle Puppy Approves A few months ago my 5 month old puppy went into kidney failure after eating something poisonous. The doctors said she had a very slim chance of surviving but she stuck it out and pulled through. It's been a tough process with tons of medication and special diet she needs to adhere to. Royal Canin Renal LP canned food has been very useful when feeding the pup. She goes absolutely nuts for it when she sees I'm about to open a can! I love it because it's so irresistible to her that she eats it even when I pour her powder medication over it. Also the powder sticks nicely to the food. Best of all is how convenient this food is. It's got a pop top so I don't need a can opener just grab a can and open it up. Another plus is that it does not contain corn! I've found that most dog foods low in phosphorous use corn (which my bernese mountain dogs are allergic to). The only downside is that it is very pricey. So to save I mix about half a can of it with another dried food so she is still full and gets her fix. I'd recommend it to anyone with a dog that needs a renal diet and does not mind the expense.
