Customer Ratings & Reviews

Rated 4.8 out of 5 by 103 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Wonder food for dogs with severe allergies My dog had been battling severe allergies for over half a year even with over the counter hyper sensitive food products. After seeing a vet specialist and several tests, the vet recommended this product. My Yorkie was use to eating mainly canned food and some dry kibble. Therefore I was concerned he would not like 100% kibble. However he adjusted to the dry kibble well. His skin cleared up within a couple weeks and he has been free of skin allergy ever since. He also had stomach issues and no longer burbs with indigestion. He doesn’t eat as much but he looks wonderful and you can tell he feels much better. It’s worth every penny you pay for this product. It was a life saver. May 16, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Expensive but worth it. My boxer has food and environmental allergies. He has been eating this food for 5 years and he does great on it. I tried switching him to a non-prescription "allergy" diet and he immediately started having issues so I put him back on this food and his allergies cleared up. It is expensive, but he feels so much better on it so it is definately worth the money. I have never had any trouble getting him to eat it. January 26, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Wow! Resolved so many problems My Westie loves it and it has resolved her skin problems, ear problems AND diahrea problems. It's a wonder food! April 4, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Hypoallergenic Hydrolyzed Protein HP Dry Dog Food I rescued a pretty Cocker Spaniel, we call her Maggie who was found as a stray a few years back and had terrible ear infections and allergies. I tried many different products and Royal Canin was prescribed by my vet. So far this has been the only product that has helped keep her ears under control. They are not perfect, but she clearly feels much better. She gobbles up her food daily and loves it. She however loves all food! July 9, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great product My dog has had allergies w ear infections for years - this food completely healed all March 1, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by great food if you have a sick pup My dog has been sick of and on for months. Unable to correctly diagnose the problem his Vet suggested we try this dog food to try and stabilize his digestive system. We are a little over two weeks in this food and nothing else to eat. He has not been sick since we started this diet. This is a huge step in the right direction. Let's hope this is the road to a permanent recovery. Cooper is a yellow Lab who loves to eat (don't they all!!) He really seems to like this food. I use the crunchy kibble as his meals and the canned smeared into an activity ball as a treat. Rated 5 out of 5 by Only food my dog can safely eat My 1 year old Cane Corso has had terrible food allergies ever since she was a puppy. Her vet prescribed this food and it worked like magic. She no longer has diarrhea, she doesn't throw up, and her coat no longer falls out. It is hard to get her to eat the food because apparently it has no flavor. Her vet recommended to add a tablespoon of low-sodium chicken broth for a little bit of flavor....it worked! She loves it! April 16, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by hypoallergenic dog food My dog loves this food and it is finally a food that relieves all her allergy symptoms. August 13, 2013
