Wonder food for dogs with severe allergies My dog had been battling severe allergies for over half a year even with over the counter hyper sensitive food products. After seeing a vet specialist and several tests, the vet recommended this product. My Yorkie was use to eating mainly canned food and some dry kibble. Therefore I was concerned he would not like 100% kibble. However he adjusted to the dry kibble well. His skin cleared up within a couple weeks and he has been free of skin allergy ever since. He also had stomach issues and no longer burbs with indigestion. He doesn’t eat as much but he looks wonderful and you can tell he feels much better. It’s worth every penny you pay for this product. It was a life saver. May 16, 2013
Expensive but worth it. My boxer has food and environmental allergies. He has been eating this food for 5 years and he does great on it. I tried switching him to a non-prescription "allergy" diet and he immediately started having issues so I put him back on this food and his allergies cleared up. It is expensive, but he feels so much better on it so it is definately worth the money. I have never had any trouble getting him to eat it. January 26, 2013
Wow! Resolved so many problems My Westie loves it and it has resolved her skin problems, ear problems AND diahrea problems. It's a wonder food! April 4, 2013
This is great food. I have seen great improvement in my Golden Retriever's coat and skin. His digestive system is working so much better now. I would like to see a discount for the food each time when using the autoship. April 23, 2014
This product is good for dogs with allergies. My pit bull has good results with Royal Canine. Usually he breaks outs with every dog food he has ate, but so far so good with this one. We will see the overall effects as soon as he is off his meds. Hopefully this is the one we need to keep him on. Expensive, but good. Doesn't eat near as much as he did on other dog foods. so far so good! My Basset has had a terrible time with hot spots etc. I am so far very pleased with Royal Canin Hypo Hydrolzed Protein Dry kibble, but need ample time to see how she improves. Bailey loves the taste! April 11, 2014
Works Great for my dog This product has helped my 11 year old Schnauzer not suffer GI issues. I previously used wet food for this purpose but have found that this product as well as the more expensive, HA, work the best for dogs with IBD and small intestinal diarrhea issues. Ginger likes the food and has not had a GI episode since putting her on it. June 29, 2014
The only thing that works! My dog started with allergic symptoms a year ago. She was itchy and vomiting bile regularly. After trying several medications and different foods, to no avail, switching to this food has been the only thing that worked. Since being switched to this hydrolyzed protein diet she has had none of the issues. She love the food and eats less of it than she did other foods and has fewer bowel movements. We tried a different brand's hydrolyzed protein food, but it caused diarrhea. Royal Canin Hydrolyzed Protein is the only food that works for her. It's expensive, but worth it! April 22, 2014
