Wonder food for dogs with severe allergies My dog had been battling severe allergies for over half a year even with over the counter hyper sensitive food products. After seeing a vet specialist and several tests, the vet recommended this product. My Yorkie was use to eating mainly canned food and some dry kibble. Therefore I was concerned he would not like 100% kibble. However he adjusted to the dry kibble well. His skin cleared up within a couple weeks and he has been free of skin allergy ever since. He also had stomach issues and no longer burbs with indigestion. He doesn’t eat as much but he looks wonderful and you can tell he feels much better. It’s worth every penny you pay for this product. It was a life saver. May 16, 2013
Expensive but worth it. My boxer has food and environmental allergies. He has been eating this food for 5 years and he does great on it. I tried switching him to a non-prescription "allergy" diet and he immediately started having issues so I put him back on this food and his allergies cleared up. It is expensive, but he feels so much better on it so it is definately worth the money. I have never had any trouble getting him to eat it. January 26, 2013
Wow! Resolved so many problems My Westie loves it and it has resolved her skin problems, ear problems AND diahrea problems. It's a wonder food! April 4, 2013
This product is good for dogs with allergies. My pit bull has good results with Royal Canine. Usually he breaks outs with every dog food he has ate, but so far so good with this one. We will see the overall effects as soon as he is off his meds. Hopefully this is the one we need to keep him on. Expensive, but good. Doesn't eat near as much as he did on other dog foods. It is what it is I don't feel I can fairly review this product because it is the only dog food my HOD Great Dane is allowed to eat. He doesn't really like it and I struggle to get him to eat. I think it must be difficult to get the hydrolyzed protein to taste good. This food is used more as a medicine than a tasty meal and it is keeping him from growing too fast which in turn is keeping him from severe bouts of HOD. So I guess in that respect it is serving its purpose. January 2, 2013
Only food my dog can safely eat My 1 year old Cane Corso has had terrible food allergies ever since she was a puppy. Her vet prescribed this food and it worked like magic. She no longer has diarrhea, she doesn't throw up, and her coat no longer falls out. It is hard to get her to eat the food because apparently it has no flavor. Her vet recommended to add a tablespoon of low-sodium chicken broth for a little bit of worked! She loves it! April 16, 2014
so far so good! My Basset has had a terrible time with hot spots etc. I am so far very pleased with Royal Canin Hypo Hydrolzed Protein Dry kibble, but need ample time to see how she improves. Bailey loves the taste! April 11, 2014
Very Good I was pleased and surprised to receive my shipment so quickly!! No hassel, no dragging the 25# + - out of the back seat or trunk of my car and bumping it down two flights of stairs. It can't get much better than the on time, correct product delivery! April 8, 2014
