Safari Double Row Flea Comb for Dogs
Great price for a good product
Despite monthly spot treatments, our dachshunds have trouble with ticks rather than fleas but I thought I'd give this comb a go anyway. It's sturdy and well made and easily passes through our boys' short hair. They don't seem to mind it too much as part of general petting activities. The double row of teeth helps dislodge hair, dust and debris from their coat and gives it a good shine. It doesn't really work for removing ticks, but I didn't expect it to!

An excellent cat comb
This cat comb works great, especially to help shed my fine-haired cats. It's a good way to check for fleas, but also an excellent grooming aid.

Only place I could find double row comb.
My dog has very short hair and single row combs do not work as well as double row. I looked at every pet store in our area but no one had double row and, the price seemed high. I found the double row at Chewy for a very reasonable price and ordered 2.

It is sturdier than most flea comb's. With the double row of teeth, it helps pick up more debri.

It is great because it traps dirt and fleas between the combs, which then can be washed out in the water/soap I have sitting there. My dogs are short haired and it is great! Works well on the cat also.

Good for combing delicate ears
Combs with larger tines can't do the job of combing hair on our dogs' spitz-type ears that this comb can do. Works well. We don't have a problem with fleas, but this comb helps with basic grooming on the face and ears.

I like it, for the most part.
I do like this comb, because it does work to get fleas. However, sometimes the flea gets in between the two rows of teeth on the comb, and it's really hard to get the flea(s) out to kill them. I mainly use it to brush my dogs, without the thought of trying to get fleas. It works great to get undercoat.

Love the way fleas are trapped
I am glad to say this double row flea comb really works. The reason is because the fleas get in between and don't jump off the comb so it is easy to get the comb dipped in soapy water.
