SafetyGlo Adjustable LED Leash
Clearly thought through.
From the nice metal hardware to the quickly and easily rechargeable battery pack, someone put a lot of thought into this leash. The handle is soft and comfortable to hold, and the stitching is quality. My dog runs alongside my bicycle in the city and I was looking for a reflective leash to be his "biking" lead. This one is not only reflective, but the LED strip makes him even more visible when we're out at dusk or dawn. It holds a charge longer than I expected it to (though I have yet to count the days, sorry.) I leave it on the windowsill to charge up in the sun; I haven't tried USB charging.
My one and only complaint is the length. While adjustable (which is awesome!) the shortest length it goes is not quite as short as I'd like it.

it works really well
So far I have absolutely no complaints! My dog and I go on walks twice a day once in the afternoon and once at night. Well we had been using s light up leash from Wal-Mart but they kept breaking. We went through four in a six month period. I wanted to find one that would last and this one you can tell is really sturdy and I have a feeling it'll be the one to last a long time!!

Not for me
I use an electric wheel chair when I walk my dogs, and was looking for leashes that would be well seen at night. The nylon that the leash is made of is very slippery to hold especially when you have two leashes in one hand. I prefer leashes that have a better grip along the entire length of the lead. The other thing I found is that the on & off switch was easily changed when both leashes are held together. It seems like just the slightest contact with anything would switch the leash off.
On the upside, the lights on the leashes is very bright which is great I think that if you are walking one dog...or one on each side it would be a good choice. For me, it was more of a pain to keep turning the lights on several times during a walk.

The first leashes that I ordered, the SafetyGlo light did not work, even after having plugged it in for 3 hours. Chewy.com was kind enough to send out a replacement leash -- but low and behold -- the SafetyGlo light didn't work on that either. So I have 3 SafetyGlo leashes that do not light up -- so I will donate them to my local animal shelter.
