Sentry flea and tick works great on my two bulldogs.
I don't worry about them playing and chewing on each other with this product. The fragrance is subtle and very nice. Anytime I can use less chemicals on my pets and get excellent results, I am a happy bully owner.

I really like this product so much, I wanted something natural than most flea and tick products, one of my dogs has seizures so I am careful of what I use on him and this was the perfect product. It has a pleasant scent, strong at first but subtle afterwards. It has worked well for my 3 dogs and I have been using for over 2 years now.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Butterscotch A good natural alternative for a flea treatment.
I have been using this product for 1 month and really like that it is a more natural. It does have a strong smell, but does go away within a day. This Sentry product does seem to work without having to pay a fortune.

I have a heavy infestation of deer ticks not only in the woods where my golden and greyhounds and I walk daily, but in my wooded fenced-in yard. After giving my golden a chemical burn with the poison I resorted to, I didn't know what to do as none of the other natural stuff seemed to work. Sentry Natural Defense DOES work. I have pulled dead deer ticks off my dogs and have had no problem with fleas. Won't use anything else. So glad to have found this product. It is strong smelling at first, but not unpleasant at all. Smell wears off in a few hours (probably after it dries). No need to use chemical poisions that DO absorb into their system when you can use this product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Meg48 Didn't work for my pets
I have three dogs, and last fall, they all got fleas. We first tried natural solutions (a member of my household can't handle some chemicals) but it wasn't enough. We tried steam cleaning all of the carpet and furniture, used flea spray on all the fabric, used flea baths, and used a flea comb on each dog nightly. We were careful to follow all the directions but still no luck. We then tried this product. We were hesitant to use a squeeze-on treatment because we've had some side-effects with pets previously. This product did not help at all. Finally, I gave up and tried another squeeze-on product (with a much higher prize tag) and within 24 hours, the fleas were gone. As one would imagine, the flea situation at my house was pretty severe and to have one product completely solve it in a single day was unbelievable. Unfortunately, Sentry Natural Defense Flea & Tick Squeeze-On for Dogs was not that product. It's possible that it just wasn't strong enough for my rather extreme situation, and you may have better results. Given the relatively low price, it may be worth it to you and your pets to try it. I, however, know I will not be using it again.

I foster rescues until adoption, and they recommended Sentry, likely because of it's natural ingredients. Reading some reviews on the web, I was skeptical at first, but tried it out. It goes on easy as described, the smell is pretty strong at first, but it never bothered my 9 month old Maltese the slightest. He is white, so it discolored his hair yellowish a little bit, and yes, it is greasy. None of that bothered either me or the dog. He's been pest free now for 2 weeks, and that's what's important. After about 2 days I used a wash cloth to wipe the excess off from the hair. Oh, and I used a little less that what was in the container because he is in the lower weight bracket.
In short I recommend!

Rated 4 out of 5 by HeatherS So far, so good...
We wanted the peace of mind of using a natural, non toxic flea/tick medication for our dogs. Initially, the spice smell was a little strong, but not too bad. Over several days the smell has faded. I didn't give it 5 stars because the jury is still out on flea/tick control as it is a little soon, but we are very excited to have found it and intend on continuing it over the flea/tick season.
