Sentry flea and tick works great on my two bulldogs.
I don't worry about them playing and chewing on each other with this product. The fragrance is subtle and very nice. Anytime I can use less chemicals on my pets and get excellent results, I am a happy bully owner.

I really like this product so much, I wanted something natural than most flea and tick products, one of my dogs has seizures so I am careful of what I use on him and this was the perfect product. It has a pleasant scent, strong at first but subtle afterwards. It has worked well for my 3 dogs and I have been using for over 2 years now.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Butterscotch A good natural alternative for a flea treatment.
I have been using this product for 1 month and really like that it is a more natural. It does have a strong smell, but does go away within a day. This Sentry product does seem to work without having to pay a fortune.

I have a heavy infestation of deer ticks not only in the woods where my golden and greyhounds and I walk daily, but in my wooded fenced-in yard. After giving my golden a chemical burn with the poison I resorted to, I didn't know what to do as none of the other natural stuff seemed to work. Sentry Natural Defense DOES work. I have pulled dead deer ticks off my dogs and have had no problem with fleas. Won't use anything else. So glad to have found this product. It is strong smelling at first, but not unpleasant at all. Smell wears off in a few hours (probably after it dries). No need to use chemical poisions that DO absorb into their system when you can use this product.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Flyer16 The Jury is still out.....
I've been researching all natural flea and tick control for my 4 dogs and decided to try Natural Defense. I checked and none of the oils they use are bad or toxic to dogs but I still haven't made up my mind on it. I put a small drop on each dog to make sure they didn't have any reactions to it (which they didn't) and then sat back and waited to see how long it took for the really, really strong (almost overpowering but not unpleasant) smell of the natural oils to come down to a more bearable level. It took about 2 days and then it was just a light scent on their fur. Knowing how sensitive dogs noses are it made me wonder how the scent was impacting them and if it was causing them any nasal discomfort or headaches when first applied. If it was almost overpowering for me, what was it like for my dogs? The reviews I've read are good and it is much less expensive than Frontline and has the added benefit of being all natural but I think I'll do a little more homework before I make the switch. So the jury is still out on this one....

Rated 4 out of 5 by FosterConny Works and smells very nice
I foster rescues until adoption, and they recommended Sentry, likely because of it's natural ingredients. Reading some reviews on the web, I was skeptical at first, but tried it out. It goes on easy as described, the smell is pretty strong at first, but it never bothered my 9 month old Maltese the slightest. He is white, so it discolored his hair yellowish a little bit, and yes, it is greasy. None of that bothered either me or the dog. He's been pest free now for 2 weeks, and that's what's important. After about 2 days I used a wash cloth to wipe the excess off from the hair. Oh, and I used a little less that what was in the container because he is in the lower weight bracket.
In short I recommend!
