How it apply Seresto:

1. Remove collar from protective bag immediately prior to use.
2. Unroll collar and make sure that there are no remnants from the plastic connectors inside the collar.
3. Insert end of the collar through the buckle. Adjust the collar around the dog or cat’s neck without tightening it too tight (as a guide, it should be possible to insert two fingers between the collar and the neck).
4. Pull excess collar through the loop(s) and cut off any excess length extending 1 inch (2 cm) beyond the loop(s).
5. Seresto comes with three optional reflector clips that can be attached to the collar for additional visibility at night. The reflector clips should be evenly distributed on the non-overlapping part of the collar.
6. Make sure Seresto fits securely. As a guide, it should be possible to insert two fingers between the collar and the neck. Make sure the collar is not loose enough for the cat to put its leg through.

Seresto Flea & Tick Collar for Small Dogs & Puppies (up to 18 pounds) Customer Reviews

Rated 4.4 out of 5 by 89 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Initial Impressions Our flea season is just now kicking up so we will see how it performs and I will leave an update here in a month or two. But my initial impression of this product is that is a quality build and seems to be well thought out. I like the feel and the fact that this thing, right out of the plastic, has literally no off-putting smell at all. I love the reflectors to help with the visibility of my dogs (I have active hunting dogs). My Vet said that last year the Serestro Collars and Comfortis were the only two things that customers said worked against the flea horde that had invaded our homes. I surely hope they were right. (to give a little background: Last year in Middle Tennessee the flea and tick populations were of epic proportions. At my house alone we went from a somewhat heavy year to complete infestation in a matter of about 2 weeks. We had religiously used a Frontline and Advantix rotation for several years that worked great….and then it just stopped for everyone I knew.) Even if the collars fall through I am hooked on’s customer service and professionalism. I have not had the pleasure of having a good customer service experience in some time. That makes my experience with all the more enjoyable. Great people and I will be coming back for my dog’s and cat’s needs. March 11, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by GREAT FOR FLEA PREVENTION! Used this last year for my two dogs and didn't have a flea. Much easier than the topicals & less expensive in the long run. February 26, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by THESE Collars DO work... My only complaint is that they did not CLEARLY state that giving a Bath or Swimming more than once per month reduces the length of time the collars are effective. I called them and was told that the oil in the fur and on the skin is how the ingredients get spread out over the animal. Baths (or swimming) more than ONCE per MONTH removes the distribution system. I feel that they should have explained that more clearly. I like to give my dogs a bath MUCH MORE OFTEN than once per month in the warm months. We live in the country and my boys PLAY in the Garden... they are diggers and rollers... and their long hair gets very dirty. It is BAYER's responsibility to let the public know about this one shortcoming........ ... NOT Chewy.Com's. August 21, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by seresto collar A seresto collar worked well for my larger dog so wanted to get one for smaller dog January 4, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by WORKS GREAT ... I placed one of these collars on our ten pound poochinie mix about 3 weeks ago. After the first day we have not seen any fleas on him. Before that we had tried the drops on his back, flea soaps, and sprays with little success. His long hair made it tough to overcome the problem with those treatments, but with Seresto it was simple. I figure the cost can be easily justified because it works and I won't have to replace it for 8 months. My wife and I are very pleased with it so far and if it lasts over 6 months it will be a bargain. Thanks, Don & Laura December 25, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Albsolutely awesome! We have a small, medium, and large dogs, and these collars are the best treatment for fleas and ticks. No more hiding huge pills in food, trying to trick them, and no more stomach upset from the medicine. Best treatment ever and an awesome price from No side effects noticed on any of the dogs. The collars seem to last about 6 months, maybe longer if they never got wet, but we have some swimmers! October 5, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Very disappointed I was very disappointed in the seresto to collar that I bought from you. I have used the seresto to collar before but bought it at the pet store. And it worked immediately. But the seresto collar that I bought from you stil is not killing fleas and it's been about three weeks. I don't know if it was a malfunction collar or what, but it still is not killing the fleas. November 19, 2013
