Very glad to finally have found a dehydrated raw food that actually lasts a month when feeding a 50lb dog! Also, my dog tends to become allergic to just about everything at some point, even the dehydrated raw she has had in the past from another reputable and great company. We've been using the Sojos for an entire month with positive results. No itchy ears or coat, she's shiny and in good flesh- some raw foods don't keep enough 'bulk' on the dog without feeding a ridiculous amount. Very pleased so far and about to start on our second month. I did find that the recommended serving size was way too large for her stomach capacity, but she seems to be doing fine with half of that. You do have to add quite a bit of water and let the meals soak for at least 8 hours to be optimally digestible, but I've found making them ahead of time does seem to streamline things.

I HAVE USED HONEST KITCHEN DOG FOOD SINCE MY 15 MONTH OLD GOLDEN WAS 7 WEEKS OLD. HE LOVED THE FOOD BUT I FELT THAT HE NEEDED TO ALSO BE ABLE TO CHEW A FOOD AND HONEST KITCHEN BY ITSELF WAS TOO MUCH LIKE A THICK SOUP. I DECIED TO TRY SOJO BECAUSE IT HAD LARGER PIECES OF FOOD. HE ALSO LOVES THIS FOOD. I NOW ALTERNATE BACK AND FORTH BETWEEN THE TWO FOODS. I ALSO ADD VEGETABLES OR FRUIT TO BOTH ONCE PREPARED.

Rated 4 out of 5 by JRTFan Feeding Chart Confusion
First off I must say my dogs seem to love this food. My previous brand of dog food was discontinued and I wanted to try Sojo's brand before I gave into making my own food at home. The food is easy to make and I have not seen any digestion issues with my fur kids. Smells pretty good too, almost like Thanksgiving.
My only complaint is regarding the feeding chart. Before ordering I read the feeding chart and thought I had it figured out. I was buying (2) 8 lbs bags of my previous dog food and that would last just over a month. I figured I could buy the same quanity of sojos and still have enough food. That is not the case. Although the 2lb bag makes 10 lbs of food it does not make the same quantity (cups) of food. I thought the 2 lb bag (since it makes 10 lbs of food) would cover me for a little longer than my previous brands 8lb bag. Volume and quantity are not the same.

I have 2 dogs that both exceed 60 lbs, I use 1/2 a cup between the 2 of them twice a day mixed with their reg food and they love it. I use hot water and let it sit for 15 min for max nutrient re-hydration. Great quality.

I love Sojos and regularly order the turkey dog food. When we tried the beef mix, our dogs' breath got horrible. HORRIBLE. We have three dogs. Two of the three had really bad breath and the third dog had runny poos the entire time we gave it to him. I really do love the company and their philosophy, but I also wanted to pass along my experience. Maybe it was a bad batch, but I'm sticking with Sojo's Turkey Mix.

I have tried other dehydrated raw foods and they are either too milled or lacking on meat. This a perfect blend of veggies and meat. The product is the perfect bite size, looks like food; not paste.

Rated 5 out of 5 by RescueMamaOf5 One of the two VERY best dog foods available.
The Sojo's line was recommended by my new holistic vet and both of my dogs LOVE the products! THIS is the way to feed your dogs a healthy, raw-food diet without all the mess & fuss! I also appreciate the limited ingredient, grain-free recipe. There are NO ingredients that I can't pronounce! This food actually SMELLS GOOD. And my tubby lil' ChiWeenie is FINALLY losing weight. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this food!
