Rated 5 out of 5 by Sheebs Great Alternative for Dogs with Food Allergies
After months of dealing with diarrhea issues and inflamed intestines, I learned that my dog was allergic to chicken. There are so many dog foods that include chicken, including some canine prescription foods! After switching to Duck Duck Goose, my dog immediately began to feel better, and with the help of medication and time, she returned to normal bowel movements, and she had lots of energy again. She no longer needs the medication. Duck Duck Goose is easy to break into pieces to use as treats, and my dog LOVES the food. I would highly recommend this healthy diet.

My dogs love Stella and Chewy's. Since getting two new puppies, I have been re-evaluating what I feed my dogs. I know when I give my dog Stella and Chewy's, I'm helping them stay healthy and happy. It can get expensive so I give them part Orijen (which isn't cheap either), part Stella & Chewy's. I also have a 15+ year old dog that has become finicky when eating. Now, I just sprinkle some Stella and Chewy's on top and she finishes all of her food. So far, I'm happiest with Duck, Duck Goose, Surf and Turf, and Beef. Dandy Lamb stinks to high heaven. Unless you personally like lamb, you will find the smell overbearing.

My 3.6 lb Yorkie, 8months old, is very finicky and doesn't like to eat much. Obviously a worrisome ordeal.
Until I found Stella and Chewy's formulas. She loves all of it but, especially the Duck, Duck, and Goose dinner! She hears the bag opening and is waiting impatiently as I prepare her meal. Amazing. I love that she loves it, and am relived to find such healthy food for my little girl that is no trouble, hassle to prepare. A true pet lovers gem!

She LOVES the Duck/Goose flavor! When she doesn't want to eat her meal, I'll crumble up a patty on her food and she will eat her food. I also use it to get her to start eating. Once she will take a bite of something normally she will go ahead and eat. I will start her off with 1 patty to eat, then crumble the other over her food. I LOVE that she loves it.

by Bluorbit Good for fussy dogs.
I don't give this to all my dogs, just to one I have that is elderly and not in the best health. He has gotten picky and will not eat at times. He WILL eat any of the Stella and Chewy foods though and I will then start mixing them in with his regular grain free food. It's a real lifesaver. He seems to like the Beef best but I like to change it up for him.

My 4 dogs and my sister's dog, who recently moved in with us, absolutely LOVE Stella and Chewy's Duck Duck Goose. They lick the bowl clean to a shine. I love the ingredients listed too! WE buy other Stella and Chewy brand food, but hands down, Duck duck Goose is their favorite. And it is easier to break apart than the other flavors!

Rated 5 out of 5 by AJMcKEE Brilliant food that my dog absolutely loves
Our 11 year old has always been incredibly picky about what she eats and would begin with a brand of food and 3 days later wouldn't eat it again. As a result she would eat very little. We were given a free sample at Dudley's Paw in New York and she immediately ate it all up. 4 months later she's still eating it twice a day. She's put on a little weight, is in great health, her coat is incredibly glossy and soft and she has an appetite at last.
The only issue is that because the food is freeze dried it tends to lead to dry stools, sometimes making it chalky (we re-hydrate it with warm water and she always has a large dish to drink from). We've addressed this by giving her cucumber and green pepper, which she already loved, to increase her water and fibre intake and this seems to do the trick.
All in all this is a great product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Maltipoo One of her favorites
Stella & Chewy is the only "dog" food that my puppy will regularly eat. She enjoys all the flavors, but this is one of her favorites and the one I used to transition her onto this brand.
For those looking to start their dogs on this product, I would highly recommend starting with the duck duck goose (which is turkey, duck and goose) because poultry is easier to transition raw. Especially if you are transitioning from kibble or regular dog food (almost all which have chicken as their primary ingredient, as it is the cheapest meat protein source).
Transitioning usually takes at least 1 week and should be done gradually. Start 3/4 old food with 1/4 S&C, then 1/2 and 1/2, then 1/4 and 3/4, and then all S&C with each phase lasting for a few days. There may be initial digestive upset as was the case with us, but now my puppy has small, firm and healthy stools and is very happy with her S&C as her main diet supplemented with treats and dental chews. She always has a high quality kibble out to free feed on but she just ignores it completely now. So be forewarned there is no turning back once you go Stella & Chewys.
