Stewart Pro-Treat Freeze-Dried Beef Liver Dog Treats
Hearty cubes of liver
A perfect tub of raw liver cubes. My labradoodle loves them. Given the caloric content, I don't use them as training treats but use them as the bedtime treat every night when she goes in her crate. It's got a strong natural odor - my pooch knows what's coming. The liver itself is dry to the touch so it's not messy to handle at all. Just pure liver delight!

The best treat for my dog.
My dog has been eating freeze dried liver treats for a long time. This is the first of this brand however. I liked it because it is manufactured and sourced in the USA. It has only one ingredient, that is liver. My dog loves the taste. This is her treat to "go to bed"...

These treats are perfect. I have a Great Dane with a very sensitive tummy thus her treat options are very limited. We found these treats and she LOVES them and they love her tummy. They are the perfect size so we can monitor how much she gets AND they are made in the USA! It doesn't get any better than that!!

My dog loves this, however.........
I like this because it's not messy, and my dog loves the taste. However: The container says 475 pieces. No doubt, but some of them are smaller than the eraser on the end of a #2 pencil. Also the price keeps going up. In the past two years, the price has constantly risen, and it is now about 30% more than it was two years ago.

Truly space ice-cream for dogs
This stuff, more than any other freeze dried food I have tried yet, is like the space ice-cream that we used to get at the science museum near us. I imagine the taste is the same, but this differs from other freeze dried treats I have bought.
They are good size blocks, about a penny wide and tall in differing lengths with some as long as a thumb, and some about half. All roughly the same width and height though, only the length seems to be different. Thanks to the container that will have many uses after this (it is sort of like... I guess a small bait bucket?), nothing was crushed. That was VERY welcome.
I got the 4-oz tub, which had quite a good amount of treats in them and should last for a few weeks when given in a low enough amount to be considered treats. I would say about 50 pieces?
The treats do offer a bite, as they aren't super hard, but they don't just shatter when pressed. I attribute this to their nice square/rectangle shape that handles pressure well. The smell is minimal for having chunks of liver. The flavor seems to be quite good, and while not her very favorite, I can't see her snubbing them. For the price, these will be a sometimes treat, but I don't regret getting it and will keep it in mind when ordering again.

Great treats, easy on the tummy, pup will do anything for them!
I've got a frenchie and he loves these things. They made training so easy. His belly is very easily upset..these treats plus his sweet potato and venison food made for a great diet. Love my little dude.

I only buy American made for my 2 dogs. My vet actually told me to sty away from the imports. have used this product for several years, but the price here is the best I could find and much less expensive than the vet. Highly recommend and my dogs love it.

I decided to buy these after seeing my dogs scarf them down at the vets office every time. I love that they are just freeze dried liver and nothing else - I feel good giving them these as treats. They loooove them. You really do get a ton even in a small tub, so I think the price is fair.
