We've been a Rottweiler family since 1991. They are our favorite breed for many reasons, we just Love them. Problem that we've had though is that they were all dying prematurely of Cancer. The vets had no easy answers so I researched dog food on the internet and found that the meat product that was being used was ground up waste and bone that had a lot of stored hormones and ground up and called meal. among the other items including organs and feces all called meal by product. I'll gladly pay more for taste of the wild, the dogs are healthy and Love it more than the previous cancer causing foods filled with fillers and grain, unnatural to their food requirements. Don't think that I'm a salesman or spokesman for product and suggest you research for yourself, It will make you sick and you will not feed your kids the 0 waste manufactured garbage for profit. Hope you like what I had to say.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Mother11 My 3 dogs can't get enough of it!
I had my dogs on Blue Buffalo and they were always still hungry and their stools would be runny on and off and never firm. They would even have bouts where they would vomit and want to eat grass from a tummy ache. I slowly switched them to 'Taste of the Wild High Prairie Dry Food" and never had one runny stool. No tummy aches or vomiting. They are also full and satisfied with their meal. One of the 3 dogs I have, he has always had stomach issues from puppy to 5 years and now they have all gone away. I love that it has all the benefits for a health digestion tract. I even told my mom about it and she said she loves what she sees in the ingredients and is going to switch her dog food, too.

I have a 1 1/2 year old GSD and he's always had issues with chewing on himself. I asked about his dog food and was always told its a good food. I didn't realize till his brother, a English Mastiff, started having problems that he could have grain allergies. So I switched them from Iams to Taste of the Wild and they have been doing amazing. Their coats feel so soft. I'm completely happy with this product. Will not be feeding them anything else.

As a pup my rottweiler had constant flatulence - it was absolutely terrible. He also had loose stools and frequent diahrea. We purchased the best high quality dog foods and we tried pro bionics and everything we could think of but nothing changed. At about age one he was a bit underweight and he vomited and had diahrea often. Then we found an article about allergies to grain and immediately purchased our first bag of Taste of the Wild. After one week of the transition (75% regular food and 25% Taste of the Wild) we began to notice a marked difference. By the time we had transitioned to 100% Taste of the Wild, we were amazed - no more flatulence, no more diahrea and vomiting!! He began to fill out and gain weight and is now a beautiful, sturdy, well built rotty. He is alert and bright eyed - finally healthy as he should be. We just cannot say enough good about this food.

My pups absolutely love this food! I've been buying it since they were puppies. I have checked all of the "Taste of the Wild" ingredients and this one in particular has the highest protein at 32%. They eat less and stay trim, not to mention all of the health benefits of this food. I am so happy that I found this food through chewy.com because I could only find it at feed stores. I ordered it once because I wanted to see how they packaged it for shipping. "Perfect" I saved $10 per bag and it's delivered to my door. WOOHOO!!! And... It's made in the USA! Nothing but the best for my girls... :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by Dadsdid My dogs love it!
My dogs were scratching all the time (feeding them a big brand name) & losing two dogs to Cancer, (not saying the dog food had anything to do with this) I decided to change things in hoping natural foods will help keep them healthier, so I talked to a friend who owns a pet food store, and she recommended to me, this food. Within 3 weeks of the them eating this the scratching stopped, gone, no more! They don't shed as much either, nice for me!!
Don't hesitate in buying this food, they love all the flavors!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Toddy This product is grain free!
My Sheltie was having itching and dry skin. My vet suggested grain free food. Taste of the Wild was recommended by a salesman at the pet food store and I am happy to say the itching is gone and her coat is greatly improved.

Rated 5 out of 5 by ROBinTEXAS My Dogs LOVE it and it's NOT costing me more money!
I kind of balked at the price of this, but at the recommendation of a local (high end) dog supply store, I tried it. My youngest dog didn't love the other foods I'd try. But she LOVES this stuff -- she could be in a dog food commercial for this stuff. I just have to be sure to slow her down so she doesn't gulp it down too fast. The amazing thing is how much LESS I have to feed them. I got the big bag at least three weeks ago and I'm feeding two Dobermans from that bag -- one dog is 85 pounds and the other is 118. They are both getting a little fatter and I'm only feeding them the minimum of the daily recommendation (I'm going to have to cut down for the youngest -- she's getting fatter). The calorie density of this food makes it efficient -- they need far less food and that fact is reflected in our yard. :) I'm sold on this food. I won't go back. And ordering through Mr Chewy is great too. Same price as my local store plus it's delivered to my door. Can't beat that. I'm sold and will continue to order this food for my dogs. Wish I would have realized this was going to SAVE me money and make the dogs happier, years ago! Better late than never!
