Taste of the Wild Pacific Stream Dry Dog Food
The proof is in the eating and his coat.
Our 2 year old German Shepherd had severe skin allergies and was scratching constantly. His coat was dry and flaky and looked just terrible. After researching on the internet and wanting to avoid allergy shots and testing, I went to a seafood based food, your Taste of the Wild Pacific Stream. After one month his coat condition improved significantly and has continued to do so from that point on. He no longer scratches at himself and his coat has a lovely luster and sheen to it. It feels silky and so smooth. People often comment on his shimmering coat! We are convinced it is the quality of your food, it's ingredients and the fact it is seafood based. Thanks for helping with our dog's coat problem.

My Miniature Schnauzer does really well on this food; his stools are always solid and his coat looks fantastic! It even cleared up some skin issues he was experiencing (dry, flaky skin). The best part: my dog loves it!
This is a GREAT food and the price is such a bargain for its quality.

Good replacement for Acana Pacifica
I had to suddenly switch foods due to the production problems Acana is once again having. I need a reliable supply of high quality food for my boxer who has epilepsy and severe food intolerances. I found that Taste of the Wild Pacific Stream dry dog food has very similar ingredients to Acana Pacific at $20 less per @30 lb. bag. The switch to Taste of the Wild was seamless with no sensitivity problems. The food looks and smells the same. Another plus is the food is produced in the U.S. so I can support a manufacturer in our nation. Taste of the Wild will be the new brand of food for my dogs.

Dogs love it but....
Does anyone else have a gas problem w/their dogs? Seems after I switched cause of my dogs allergies he got really gassy and its fishy raunchy. Sorry, don't know how else to say it. His allergy and itching is much declined so its helping that way, but I'm feeding it to 2 dogs and the air is less than flowery.

Excellent, top quality dog food.
One of my GSD had skin problems Yeast, I took her to the Vet and skin specialist. I asked about the food that I was feeding at that time which was Purnia One and both said it's not the food. This poor dog was suffering and being drugged! After spending a couple of thousand dollars on doctors. I saw The Taste of The Wild online found a store that carried it and bought it. 6 months later my GSD 's skin was clear no more infections. I have two other GSD's and they have been on it since puppy stage they love it.
I am so happy that now I can buy it online from Mr. Chewy. This is the best food out there.

Great product, reasonable price
My black lab Otis absolutely loves the Taste of the Wild. As soon as I opened the bag the smell of salmon was potent, which is something I can't say of any other dog food I've bought. I always by the best dog food, but this one was the first one that smelled like what is was made of.

Skin Allergy Resolution
Since moving to TN from dry CO, my Bernese Mountain Dog has been suffering allergies just like us humans. The worst was the smelly psoriasis like skin flaking that required constant treatment, combing and shaving and 2X weekly bathing (a chore with a big, old, hairy dog). Within a week there was noticeable improvement and after a month the skin is healthy and fresh requiring less frequent bathing, no daily treatment and I only shave for heat relief. I like to hug my dog again!

Great food (if you hate your dog)
First off let me say that I love the Mr. Chewy website, and will continue to order my food from them.
Unfortunately I have nothing good to say about TOTW dog food. I have been feeding this food to my 3 dogs for several years now, but with the most recent dog food recall affecting TOTW, I am switching to a different brand. Taste of the Wild is made by Diamond, which is famous for pet food recalls. There are plenty of other reasonably priced, high quality, grain-free pet foods on the market, that have NEVER had a pet food recall. No reason for me to continue risking my pet's health by feeding it this garbage. When I contacted TOTW regarding the latest recall, they were rude and dismissive of my concerns. Too bad. TOTW (and all other Diamond products), will no longer receive my business or recommendations.
