Wellness Complete Health Senior Deboned Chicken & Barley Recipe Dry Dog Food
Ingredients you feel good giving your dog!
Our dog was diagnosed with congestive heart failure this fall. We wanted to do what we could from a nutritional standpoint, and we feel great about this product choice. We slowly switched over from the Kirkland brand dry dog food with no issues, and he seems to be eating more consistently too (before he occasionally would skip a meal/lack of interest). He had had lost some weight (not desired), but looks to have gained it back (bones not as predominant). We haven't weighed him yet, so this is just a subjective looking more 'healthy'.

a superior product
It's hard to find a good senior dog food. My dog enjoys this food and I believe his energy level has increaded. I would recommend this food to anyone with a senior dog (mine is 10 years old) .

Dog Loves Wellness For Seniors
I have been feeding my dog the Wellness dry and wet food but my vet recently told me to switch to the senior kind because it has less protein. This is easier on the kidneys and livers of older dogs. My dog loves this food; even if I don't put any of the senior wet food on it.

I'd been giving our precious 12 year old, 30 lb Bichon/Standard Poodle Mix 'Bungee' glucosamine/chondroitan supplements for his aging hips (worn by years of boucing) but Wellness Super5mix Just for Seniors is doing an excellent job of keeping him pain free and moving freely. He loves it, and is holding at his normal healthy weight.

Just switched from Purina Pro Plan
I recently switched my almost 13 yo Border Collie to this food, mostly for the higher fiber and added glucosamine/chondroitin. My vet recommended a higher fiber diet since my baby get's stress related diarrhea often, and although the weight management has 6%, I thought I'd go with the senior one first. It's a close 5% and if anything I may switch to the other if it doesn't help firm him up. So far so good, but it's only been a month. He does like it dry, which he has always needed some sort of canned food or gravy added to his kibbles, even on the purina, so this is exciting for us! =) His energy level is still the same, energetic, and I am hoping this helps his joints out since he is starting to stiffen up a bit on hips and I would like stop giving him medication for it eventually. I will continue to update but so far so good!

My dogs love this food!
I have one dog left of three. They all lived long and healthy lives, I believe in large part due to this food. All three liked it and the ingredients are awesome. My 15-year-old is going strong, even with congestive heart failure.

My three senior dogs are thriving on Wellness
One of them was having problems with loose stool. I switched from a top-rated brand to Wellness, and he has improved, not only in his digestive system, but also in his activity level. I will continue purchasing this brand for all my beloved companions.

Yummy Senior Dog Food
I bought this food for my senior Chihuahuas. The kibble was too large for my Chihuahuas, but I gave it to my Brother's Golden Retriever who thinks the food is Yummy & highly recommends it to senior dogs larger than "Toy Breeds".
