Rated 5 out of 5 by Petluvr reversed my cats diabetes
One of my cats was diagnosed with diabetes and was on insulin. I know from experience with my own that low carb is the way to go. Put him on this food and all my cats and dogs too and within 2 weeks he was off insulin. His blood sugars are now perfect! LOVE LOVE that my cats and dogs all get to eat the same food.

I have been feeding my cats Wysong products for 6 years and I find their new product, Epigen Chicken, to be the best dry cat food on the market. I printed all the nutritional information for Epigen and gave it to my cats' vet and she thanked me and said she will be recommending Epigen to all her clients. She also said she has always trusted Dr. Wysong's products. I rotate Epigen with Wysong's Vitality, Archetype, Nurture and canned food and I feel confident my cats are getting the best nutrition available. I highly recommend Epigen Chicken.

Rated 5 out of 5 by AnnaVP So Affordable, and Healthy!
I work at an animal shelter, and I admit it, I'm kind of a cat food snob. I'll also admit that by feeding them natural food, my cats eat healthier than I do most of the time. I've always been a proponent of natural cat foods, but Wysong Epigen is my favorite.
When I order, I buy two 8 lb bags and a bag of treats or a toy and I get free shipping. Each bag lasts me approximately 1.5-2 months per 3 cats who get measured amounts of food morning and night. People who buy low quality cat food at the grocery store say natural food is too expensive. Are you kidding? Not with Wysong! I pay less than a bag of *major cat food brands* food costs, and because I measure their food, it lasts and lasts, unlike many people who constantly keep their cat's bowl full. Keeping it in an air-tight storage container helps with freshness! I recommend this product to everyone, but I have yet to meet anyone else who feeds Wysong to their pets.

WE TOOK IN 4 STRAYS OVER TIME = OLDEST IS 13 YEARS - YOUNGEST IS 2 YEARS. ONE IS DIABETIC = ALL WITH DIFFERENT TASTE BUDS TO PLEASE BUT ALL 4 LOVE THIS FOOD = WE TRIED A LITTLE OF THIS FOOD TO START WITH, THE CATS EACH LOOKED AT IT, SMELLED IT, THEN TOOK A BITE, THEN STARTED EATING LIKE THEY COULDN'T GET ENOUGH - ONCE FINSHED WITH THAT SMALL AMOUNT, LOOKED AT ME LIKE "GIVE US MORE - WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?" NOT ONLY ARE WE GIVING THEM SOMETHING THAT IS GOOD FOR THEM BUT SOMETHING THEY ACTUALLY ENJOY EATING WITHOUT MAKING THEM BUTTERBALLS & RUINING THEIR HEALTH.

We love Wysong products and will continue to purchase them. Our dog loves this food and we feed our cats the Epigen 90 to keep their carb intake low. I do rotate their food (as Wysong recommends) but Wysong is a staple in our home. I love Wysong's philosophy about rotating, eating fresh foods, etc. We always come back to Wysong as their products are healthy and tasty.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Barnabyj Does not seem to give cats necessary nutrition
Got this food for my 4 cats and 2 small dogs. Everyone seemed to be ok on it at first. Everyone's fur looked good, and no one seemed to be avoiding the food. After about a month or so, the cats seemed to become more and more food obsessed. One of my newer cats started to steal food from my kids, rip open groceries, constantly steal food from the counters, etc. The cats became hostile to each other, and eventually all the cats began to jump on counters for food when they never have before. While at first I noticed they seemed to slim down alittle, the older two cats started to get boney. I switched food immediately, and after a couple of weeks, everyone is a much healthier weight, food stealing is dramatically down, and there are a lot less cat fights. The cats could've eaten as much of this as they wanted, yet they still acted like they were starving, and it seems that they might've started to. Possible the starch free design makes it so the cats have problems storing fat? The dogs seemed to do ok on this, but I still don't feel comfortable using this food, after seeing how the cats fared on it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by ultralightpilot I'm a believer!
I've read about dog food a LOT over the past couple years. I believe grain-free is good, but the thing in grain that is bad is starch. Many so-called "grain-free" dog foods use potatoes to hold it into a kibble, and it's the starch that does that. When I look for food, I look for starch-free. Epigen is starch-free

I feed my cat a natural, grain-free diet. He's not that fond of dry food, but he rather likes this one. It's small enough that he can eat it easily and he doesn't snub it until he's starving. I'm happy I found this.
