The Central California Animal Disaster Team (CCADT) assists emergency response agencies and Red Cross Central CA with displaced companion pets, livestock and equine during natural and human-caused disasters. Our services include:
emergency animal sheltering for small and large animals, evacuation assistance, shelter-in-place animal care, search and rescue of lost pets and reunification of animals with their owners.
In addition, the CCADT provides assistance to domestic violence shelters through their program - the SHARP Network (Safe Haven for At-Risk Pets).
CCADT provides pet food and supplies to the domestic survivors and aids in finding temporary boarding if necessary.
