Rated 5 out of 5 by RAW, gently dried food (NOT kibble). Our cats love the venison and lamb! Been looking a long time for a very good, canned and dry raw and this is it! Ziwi Peak canned is 65% raw meat + moisture (then retort cooked in sterile BPA free can) and their dried raw is 90% meat - both contain chelated vitamins (easier digestion) and also include organs for those vitamins that both cats and dogs cannot synthesis plus mussels (and some have fish) for additional health benefits. NO grains, peas and carrots as fillers! No carrageenan (seaweed thickener) or ethoxyquin (fish preservative). All meats are pasture raised & grass fed! Both cats and dogs are carnivores - cats actually obligate and don't need any fillers - Ziwi Peak understands this. We have introduced all of the lamb and venison canned and dried raw. We use the dried raw to top off another favorite brand of 100% raw meat for evening and give them canned in the mornings. Was not hard getting them to eat the canned - took about two weeks as we gradually gave them a little every day with their old brand and increased those amounts (cats instinctually may not trust a new scent so you may have to start with a small amount next to their bowl to get them familiar with the smell as they eat the other brand of food). We sought out raw and high quality canned because of IBS and allergies issues with our cats. Their health has vastly improved and their coats are shinier when they are eating only the ingredients they were meant to eat! May 1, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Both cats refused it, one threw it up I bought this food for one of my cats that cannot eat any kind of dry cat food. I thought that he maybe able to eat this. He ate about 7 pieces of it and threw it up all over the place. I tried to feed it to the other cat, he didn't want anything to do with it. April 18, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by My cats really hate this. I think the smell of lamb is really attracting but my cats don't think so. They would rather be hungry and beg for other food than eat this. I mixed food with Orijen and my cats pick all Orijen, leave ziwipeak in the bowl. If your cat likes lamb things, this will be fine. Otherwise, never try this one. January 20, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by They try to take the bag away when I'm serving this Whenever I open the bag to give them this food, they try to fight me for it. They want the whole bag, they want to stick their face in the bag, they want this stuff and they want it now. It is very, very pricey. So I guess that means my cats all have excellent taste. Rated 3 out of 5 by Great ingredients The canned food is great!!! But my babies won't eat this air dried! Too bad, a much healthier alternative to bagged dry food . High quality! December 31, 2015

Rated 4 out of 5 by Good food, just some inconsistencies I really love Ziwipeak. I feed my 6 of my 7 both the air dried and the canned, although the air dried is their favorite. My only issue is that sometimes, especially with the lamb and venison and fish, the food has a different color to it and smells less fresh. I've never seen any mold on the food, but I've received a couple bags that don't look as good as I'd like and i ended up tossing them rather than risk feeding them to my cats. I've contacted the manufacturer about it but so far no word back. I really don't want to stop feeding this food because it's such good quality, so I hope it's just a fluke. November 14, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Cats went BONKERS over this My cats are spoiled rotten and get very high quality food with loads of variety, and they enjoy tucking in at every meal. When I tried this food - as a topper on top of their wet food -- they got even more excited than usual! Now I give them a pinch each while I'm preparing their meals and they really go for it, even meowing when they see me open the bag. I like the ingredients and adding more variety and texture to their meals. It's a bit pricey, but for the quality and the fact that the pieces are small so the bag holds more than it looks at first, I think it's justified. I would definately recommend this food as a delicious and healthy topper and treat addition to a cat's diet. If you can afford it, even as the main food, although I am in favor of a varied diet.
