2 Hounds Design Freedom No Pull Nylon Dog Harness & Leash

Make leash training a walk in the park with the 2 Hounds Design Freedom No Pull Dog Harness and Leash. The patented design works by discouraging what’s known as the “opposition reflex,” which is the reflex that encourages dogs to pull against pressure caused by traditional harnesses. Instead, this leash features an action loop at the back between the shoulders, enabling your dog to walk in a straight line without twisting or straining. A structural ring on the front of the chest offers a second control point, allowing you to “steer” your dog and redirect his attention—which comes in handy when a squirrel crosses your path! Easy to fit and easy to use, it all connects with the included double connection leash.
Key Benefits- Included double connection training leash provides two points of contact with your dog, allowing you to steer your dog from the front connection.
- Patented design reduces twisting, straining, and pulling, providing a more enjoyable experience for you and your dog.
- Improves communication and training while out for a walk, and helps to redirect your dog’s attention.
- Stainless steel hardware and heavy-duty nylon with Swiss velvet lining behind front legs to prevent rubbing and chafing. Good for dogs of all weights.
- Made in the USA with four points of adjustability to fit any dog body shape or type.

To get the most accurate size harness for your pet, measure the girth of their chest, around the widest part of your dog's torso right behind the front legs, with a cloth tape measure. Pull the cloth tape snug, but not tight. If you don't have a cloth tape measure, you can use a piece of string and measure it with a rigid ruler afterwards. Make sure there's enough room for about two fingers between the harness and your pet's chest for comfort.

Really helped with pulling!
By PuppyMom617 on Jan 11, 2021
My 5-month-old puppy has a few major leash/harness problems - 1. She will chew right through a leash in no time at all, 2. She will get mouthy when you try to put a harness on her, and 3. She will not stop pulling. I was really hesitant to try this even though it was recommended to me and had good reviews. I thought it would take her forever to allow me to put it on her, since her previous harness only had one clip (vs. two on this one) and she would put up a fight. However, once I actually used it, I was pleasantly surprised at how easily she let me put it on. Obviously, that’s going to vary dog-to-dog, but I feel like I got really lucky and she seems to respect it more than her old one. The My 5-month-old puppy has a few major leash/harness problems - 1. The leash, unfortunately, did not fare as well, since as soon as I clipped it on, she bit right through it. So I ended up having to use my existing heavy-duty leash that isn’t as comfortable to handle, but can withstand her bites. Clipping the leash on the front made a huge difference with her pulling. We are pretty much walking with a loose leash all the time now. I will definitely buy another if she outgrows this one. … more

Heavy Chewers Beware
By Harness on Feb 20, 2021
It works great, but I can't leave it on her, she's a heavy chewer so I have to take it off every time. She has had it a few weeks and already chewed through one of the straps. I ordered a new 1and I'm sending the other 1 back for repairs. It does help with her walking and she does not seem to be able to escape from it so that's a plus.

Good product, off color
By cleo on Feb 23, 2021
I got this harness based on a recommendation and am pleased with the entire set. I like that it has two clips - front and back- and that it comes with a lead! Only issue was that I ordered this in ruby but what I received was more purple than ruby. I got used to it but beware if you get the ruby color.

Great but be aware of size
By Steve on Feb 7, 2021
We had some harnesses like this already. They didn’t have a tag so not sure if it’s the same company or not. They are really easy to put on and haven’t had any issues with fraying. The sizes listed on Chewy are different than the sizes on the box. The XL mostly fits but we probably should have gotten Large instead.

Rescue dog caged for 4 years learning to be a pet!
By DogLover on Feb 12, 2021
I rescued my dog from being in a cage from 7 months old until 5 1/2 years. He is a very scared 50 lb dog every thing and men scare him out of his mind! In the six months I have had him I’ve been pulled down to the ground 5 times suffering bruises and one broken rib! I have tried many different walking systems on him during this time. The system from 2 hounds has given me a lot more control over him when he is scared or has an uncontrollable urge to chase a small wild animal! I am an 83 year old woman with a lot of dog experience. We are now walking between 2-3 miles a day and hope to up that in summer now that it has gotten to be a happy walk!!!

Must have collar
By ColoradoHeinrich on Feb 23, 2021
I have a husky puppy that like all huskies wants to pull. This no pull collar is great, it has made all the difference with my 15 week old girl. It takes a little bit to adjust and figure it out but I have to say it works great.

Game changer!
By AriMom on Mar 1, 2021
This thing has helped walking so much! My dog gets so excited and pulls on walks. We’ve trained and we walk daily! This changed everything! It’s the third harness we’ve tried and I highly recommend!

Working so far
By Beth on Feb 22, 2021
I really like the harness. Had to adjust it some but got a good fit now, Still a work in progress, my boy likes to walk me and not the other way around. Did well in all the snow we had in Kentucky.

Really Nice!
By LynnT on Mar 4, 2021
This harness is working out really well for our dog. It’s easier to redirect him. After a couple trials of putting it on and struggling a bit, I’m now used to it and it’s a breeze!

Great for puppy!
By tatumfam on Jan 8, 2021
This harness is easy to slip on and get going. Our puppy is 8mo and 45lbs and wants to greet every dog on our walk. The harness can be attached to the leash in different ways, and we found the hooking the leash to the front is best for helping to guide our pup through greetings or passing by for dogs not open to a puppy hello.
