The patented design works by discouraging your dog from pulling against pressure that’s often applied with traditional harnesses. Instead, this harness features an action loop at the back and between your pup’s shoulders, so he can easily walk in a straight line without all that twisting and straining. It also features a structural ring on the front of the chest that offers a second control point, allowing you to direct your dog—which comes in handy when a squirrel crosses your path! Plus, it’s completely adjustable at all contact points, so you can find the proper fit for your furry friend.

To get the most accurate size harness for your pet, measure the girth of their chest, around the widest part of your dog's torso right behind the front legs, with a cloth tape measure. Pull the cloth tape snug, but not tight. If you don't have a cloth tape measure, you can use a piece of string and measure it with a rigid ruler afterwards. Make sure there's enough room for about two fingers between the harness and your pet's chest for comfort.

This is my second harness from here. Tucker grew out of his other one and it's great and if you use the front clip, it really does keep him from pulling and helps him learn proper leash manners. I do wish there was a side D-ring as well.
I bought this harness for my 8 month old 80 pound pit bull puppy. The velvet straps keep him from getting skin cuts from the harness. It works decently well keeping him from pulling. I am using this harness 100% of the time during both group dog obedience and daily walks.
I loved the original Freedom No Pull harness, so when it was time for a replacement I ordered this reflective version. My dog has great leash manners until he sees a cat. The front clip makes him easier to manage if he bolts. The harness feels solid and secure. My dog doesn't chew his leash or harness, so I can't testify to whether it's chew-proof.
I have 2 of these for each of my dogs. this is the best. Really helps with the pulling and love that the leash slides through and clips to both front and back so you're not just pulling on their chest to flip them around or just letting them brace on the front of the harness with only a back pull. its a great balance and great length. Of course it could be a bit more durable as the leash got chewed through quite quickly but thats my only complaint. Very adjustable and love this brand. Will be getting another as now the puppy outgrew his.
I tried 2 other harness and this one won for me. I like the material and it works great on my dog
Its a great harness but make sure its on correctly, out pup was able to get her mouth into it while wearing it and chewed through it
I am the human the dog walks. This harness is awful, not like the Freedom harness I purchased two years ago. The straps always loosen. This definitely is not the harness for you if you want to restrict your dog's pulling. Does not work at all.
I’ve had the royal blue (M) for my 65ish pound lab, he is starting to outgrow this one so I decided to go with the black/ grey Large size reflective one. The royal blue one works great, so easy to put on, and no threading your dogs legs through the straps which is a huge plus! Hoping the reflective one is the same quality!
The Freedom harness is well-designed and fits our Chessie nicely.
Even tho I adjusted to fit wore once on walk. He sat down and front strap exposed enough for him to chew. It is recycled fabric and it didnt take him 3 mins to destroy the harness when we got home.
