    I’d rather the lotion

    By 1234 on Oct 26, 2020

I bought this along with the lotion, I’ve gone through 3 bottles of lotion already and I swear by it but wanted to try the spray thinking it would be easier for the paws. The spray is like an oil and although it does the same as the lotion, it has a terrible smell. Very easy to apply but with dogs they lick whatever you put on them. I wouldn’t recommend the spray because it gets on their bedding, sofa and leaves oil spots on wooden floor. My dog just had the awful smell on her mouth from licking. The lotion is so much better but both products are amazing.

    Doggie hydrocortisone spray

    By furandfeathermommaof5 on Sep 25, 2020

Highly recommended if you have a dog with an itchy spot that needs to heal. I spray my chihuahua's mild hot spot on her leg after spraying the antibiotic spray from the vet if I see her trying to get at the site again. No more than 3 times a day. Will always have it on hand!

    Good product, no alcohol

By Westcoaster on Jun 14, 2020

My dogs swim in my pool all summer. Even though I rinse them after they have been in the chlorinated water, they sometimes get irritated, itchy skin on their personal bits. I treat this with a bath using colloidal oatmeal soap, and then when they are dry I apply hydrocortisone spray. I treat the sore areas for a few days (I soak a cotton ball and dab it on, as no dog likes a spray bottle, and spraying sore, hypersensitive skin is cruel), just until the skin is calmed down. When the spray has soaked in, I apply a moisturizing balm. I continue using the balm until the skin is back to normal. I used to use a spray with lidocaine in it, and it was far more effective for treating the dogs’ discomfort My dogs swim in my pool all summer. Before I found this product I made the mistake of buying a spray that had a form of alcohol in it, and my dog started shaking (from pain) when I applied that (what maniac thinks it’s smart to put alcohol in a product for hot spots?). So this spray gets points for having no alcohol. I tested it on a cut on my hand and it did not sting. … more

    Helped with Flea Allergy Itch

By RottieGirl on Jun 11, 2019

I work rescue and I got this for one of our Rottie girls who had a horrible flea allergy and was so itchy she was bleeding from scratching. We gave her NexGuard which killed the fleas and used the spray to stop the itchy scratchy. It has worked really well.

    Soothes itchy skin rashes quickly!

By BlueBuffaloReview on May 19, 2019

My boxer has a skin irritation -- dry and itchy -- across his chest, underarms, and down to his groin. This spray, after just 1 application, cut down on his scratching significantly. I highly recommend this product.
