Feeding Instructions

Mixing Directions: Gently shake or stir 1 part powder into 2 parts warm water (a one tablespoon scoop is included for measuring the powder and water). Do not mix more than can be consumed in 24 hours. Mix until all lumps are dissolved. Do not use a blender. Do not feed if formula is warmer than room or body temperature.

PREGNANT AND LACTATING cats: Mix powder into the daily ration at the rate of 2 teaspoons per 5 lbs. (2.3 kg) of body weight until 2 weeks after queening.

All kittens should receive the mother's milk for at least 2 days, if possible. This first milk gives extra nutrition and temporary immunity against some diseases. Warm reconstituted formula to room or body temperature (Do not use a microwave to warm reconstituted formula). Feed kittens 2 tablespoons (30 mL) of liquid per 4 ounces (115 g) of body weight. The daily feeding rate should be divided into equal portions for each feeding. The kitten's needs will vary and this amount may have to be increased or decreased, depending on the individual. Small or weak kittens may need to be fed reconstituted formula every 3 to 4 hours while larger and/or older kittens can do well being fed every 8 hours. Weigh the kittens daily to assure adequate feeding. Consult your veterinarian for additional advice.

    Kitten does not like

    By on

Not only does the newborn kitten not like this milk replacer, I do not like the smell of it. It has a very sweet smell probably from the dried corn syrup.

I love chewy! There is always great communication and when things go on sale, it's even more awesome! Please add an option for a gift note, as many people that order from you are buying for rescues and others so it's nice they know who the gift comes from. Thank you!
