Is that 54 long by 58 wide?

The Regular measures 54 inches wide by 58 inches long. The X-Large measures 60 inches wide by 64 inches tall.

Will this allow access for a car seat for a child to be installed behind passenger seat??

The covers fuzzy fastener seatbelt and car seat latch openings ensure that everyone in the car can still be buckled in for safety.
What side is the 40 split on... driver or passenger side

This cover features a section in the middle that is approximately the width of a center arm rest. This can be completely unzipped to create a split in the middle using the arm rest. it can also be unzipped on just one size so the passenger or drivers side seats can be folded down to create a 60/40 split.
What are the dimensions of the straps for the backseat headrests? I have a Jeep Compass and the headrests do not adjust in the backseats. I am having a hard time finding a hammock that have straps long enough to fit. Please advise and thank you.

The straps for the headrest measure 22 inches at the longest and 5 inches at the shortest.

Functional

With the two zippers I can fold down seats in multiple configurations 60-40 or 40-20-40. I gave it 4 stars because tit could use a strap for the center headrest.

Split rear seat cover with hammock

This cover fits the backseat really good. I was worried that the zippers would not line up with my seat back. They do line up right on. The dogs tend to slid around on the slick watepfroofing serface. I do need extra padding for my elderly dog . But it works really well to keep the seat from getting wet or dirty. I will need to find an extension idea for the Velcro that holds the bottom part secure to the seat. They Velcro (4 inches) provided sewn onto the under part needs to be a lot long. I have nothing to attach supplied Velcro. They hammock will work, but I have full Seats with no headrest. I will need to find a way to secure them. But all in all I am very happy with this product.

  • Fits well on my back seat. An everything lines up very well.
  • Short Velcro attachments
  • I have no place to secure on my backseat under frame
  • My seats will not work for the hammock, The secure area interferes with the your comfort.
  • Head rest secure lines up good.
