Feed an Adult 8 - 10 lb cat 1 can twice a day. Adjust as needed for your cat’s age and activity level.
When switching your pet's diet, we recommend transitioning from the current diet to the new product over a 5-7 day period. Replace 15-20% of the current diet with the new product each day until they are fully transitioned. If you do not have any of your current formula to mix, reduce the amount of the new product fed for the first few days, feeding smaller more frequent meals and increase over time. As always, we also recommend checking with your veterinarian for the most accurate feeding recommendations for your pet. If your pet is more sensitive to change, please allow 10-14 days to fully transition onto the new formula.

Mostly Okay
By Annie on Nov 29, 2020
I give this food to the 3 outside feral cats that frequent my yard. Some of them only eat a little and some will eat what remains. Probably won't be getting this flavor in the future.

Now? Now? Now?
By TheHelp on Aug 12, 2020
Kitty loves this flavor! He's begun expectantly taking position next to his bowl every time I walk into the kitchen now. Poor dummy.

Bad cans cut your fingers!
By swiftest on Jun 13, 2020
Every time I open these cans they slice my finger open! No matter how careful I am, they get me. Also , the outside cats who eat most anything turn their nose up at 9 Lives Regretfully I won’t order anymore.even though it’s the best price

They HATE it with the heat of a thousand suns!
By Persiancatwhisperer on Feb 12, 2020
Yes, well, I do have Persians but they're always loving wet food, most varieties, but won't go near this. Friskies discontinued their shredded chicken and cheese so I ordered this to help with the disappointment. They're still disappointed! One of them lapped up a bit of the gravy and warm water I mixed in with it (it's super thick and dry, more like dog food), but then they both did their notorious 'backwards shimmy' dance for which they are famous, thinking that I'd poisoned them once more and ran for their lives. Sigh, the search is still on and I just hope that Merrick (their favorite wet food), comes up with something that DOES NOT HAVE FISH mixed in, even thought it's supposed to be Yes, well, I do have Persians but they're always loving wet food, most varieties, but won't go near this. Come on 9-lives, 'beef' up the flavor! … more

Indoor or Outdoor cats won't eat it. Gave to Opossums & Raccoons.
By IndoorAdvantage on Jan 3, 2020
I thought the mixture of ingredients sounded great. I've always tried to get something similar to the 9Lives Tuna and Cheese everyone loved. This is not it. I'll use it up on the wildlife but have already replaced it with something else. Bummer.

9 Lives Cat food
By Joanna on Oct 6, 2019
I purchased both 9 Lives with cheese. Our kitties do not like this. They love the Delectables Stew by Hartz. Will be ordering at 5 of each by tomorrow. I can send this back or donate to the shelter we rescused our 3 kitties from.
