I love the look of this customizable mat but they claim it’s waterproof and that’s not true at all. A drop of water soaks straight through to the floor. Picked up the mat and the floor has a big wet rectangle because the underside of the “waterproof” mat is soaked. The material reminds me of a large photo mouse pad I have on my desk. Just don’t buy this thing. It’s not worth your floors!

While this is really pretty and looks as pictured, it is the texture of a mouse pad and does not seem absorbent. Not ideal for a placemat.
