Unfortunate
Unfortunately half of the hornworms were dead when they arrived at my house. Not sure if they were too long in shipping, or if they were not at a good temperature conducive to life. The rest of them thrived well and grew very large and my bearded dragon absolutely loves them.
Positive Experiences for me
There are so many negative reviews for this, I decided to leave my own. I’ve had great experiences the 2 times I’ve ordered the 25 count. They came super tiny which I was happy about because I feed these to my jumping spiders. Most were alive, about 20 of the 25. My only negative is I wish it came in an even smaller size. As you should know, they grow sooooo fast.
Do not buy
If I could give this zero stars I would. Said there are 25 worms, there are 7. 4 of those 7 are dead. The other three are so small they barely count as a treat for my bearded dragon. Awful product.
Most of them were dead when I opened up the container I got maybe 5 out of the whole thing
75?
Apparently there is 75 yet only 3 of them lives by the time I get them and feed them to my breaded dragon. The food molds over in a day.
The Leopard geckos like the worms, but most of the ones in container were 1/2 or so in size. There was only 1 that was large, 1-1/2 inches or so.
Hornworms
Was a good price for the hornworms but they didn't live long at all they died three days later
Only 18, not 25, too little food in the container.
Well, first off, I only received 18, not 25 as advertised. I figured I would let them grow a bit, and see how it went. I'm experienced in keeping reptiles (25+ years), so I'm well aware of how to store hornworms. There wasn't enough Repashy in the container for even the 18 that were there. I can't imagine if there were 25! The container is also too small for that many hornworms, especially if you want them to grow a bit before feeding. Within a short time, no more food was left, just their "droppings" and they hadn't really grown as much as I had hoped. Also 2 died, so now I was down to 16. I thought ordering with my Chewy order would be more convenient, unfortunately it was disappointing at best. Definitely will not order again.
