Instructions
Transition Instructions

When switching diets, it’s important to transition your dog or puppy as it takes time for her digestive system to adapt to the richer nutrient levels in ACANA. Over a 5-7 day period, gradually mix in ACANA, increasing the amount each day so that by day 7 you are feeding 100% ACANA.

Great Quality but Prefer the Paleo version

By ElizabethB on Jun 10, 2022

My 7 Bichon Frise dogs loved the Paleo flavor/version of this but it has not been in stock since January 2022. My dogs do not go crazy for this like they did for the Paleo. I put out 2 different foods, this Acana Feast flavor and Zignature fish, lamb and turkey and they continue to pick Zignature over this flavor. I know its a quality product but apparently the taste is not as good as Acana Paleo. PLEASE BRING IT BACK!!!

    Amazing but Disappointed

By Hailey on Aug 28, 2021

I have been feeding all 5 of my standard poodles this food for 2 years now and have never had a single issue with it. I had tried at least 12 different brands before this one and they always had digestive issues, dry itchy skin, ear infections, etc. As soon as I switched to this food they have been healthy and happy. I am disappointed because Chewy informed me that this food was being discontinued. Not Chewys fault at all, rather an issue with Acana but me and my fur children are very sad about this and I am hoping they have another recipe that they will do just as well on.

    Price change?

By Tuckerthedog on Oct 12, 2021

We love this food but it jumped 20 dollars more for the 25 lb bag. I just don’t understand how this can happen. Looks like we will be switching food again.

    Very Satisfied Dog and Person

By NovaBoerboel on Feb 21, 2021

We have been really happy with the food and the results. When I first got Nova, she seemed to tend towards some allergies and skin issues. That coupled with being a giant breed, we found tricky to find the right food when avoiding Chicken, Beef, or Lamb. We have been doing a daily rotation between (Wild Atlantic and Paleo) and (Wild Atlantic and Feast). Nova loves it and her skin and coat have been great. It’s calorically dense, so I brought her daily ration down a bit to keep her lean. Couldn’t be happier.
