Awesome for failure to thrive kitten!

    By Jilibean2 on Nov 7, 2021

I have a kitten who came to me unwell and his appetite has been poor ever since. At three months, he’s still barely over 2 lbs. sort of a failure to thrive situation. I just got this and he ate more than he ever has!!! I am shocked and feeling so blessed that I think I’ve finally found one that will help him.

    this is a winner

By ohiopetsitter on Sep 29, 2021

Two of my three aging cats have almost no teeth left, and while they do eat moist food, they also enjoy some dry food. Acana kitten food is rich and in the form of very tiny pieces of kibble, which my cats appreciate. They, along with my third cat, a 20-year-old with a full set of teeth, are thriving. I first bought this because it does not mention turkey as a main ingredient, but the actual ingredient list mentions a turkey product. My cat's turkey-sensitive tummy has not rebelled. I'm very happy with the purchase.

    Best Kitten Food Around!

By Autter on Nov 1, 2021

All three of my kittens have preferred this brand of kitten food over the others. I think it's a combination of flavor and the size of the kibble.

    Great dry cat food!

By Chicat on Nov 2, 2021

My kitty seems to prefer this over the instinct kitten food. But this one does gives her a bad breathe.

    Cats wouldn't eat it

By Nope on Oct 18, 2021

Really expensive food, can't return it... waste of money if cats will not eat it and they will not. Can't recommend it.

    Pigeon Approved

By tmray on Jun 8, 2021

I just got a new kitten and she came with a small bag of Royal Canin. Great food, but realistically out of my price point. I shopped around a little bit and came across Acana. I liked the ingredients and took a chance. The smell is strong, but it is whitefish - however, my kitten has been eating all of it and has so much energy. Very happy with the food and will continue to purchase for my new pal Pigeon!

    Kitten loves this

By jenny on Apr 14, 2021

We adopted a 5 month old kitten who seemed to be a nibbler on Science Diet--taking a few bits here and there. We switched to this after a lot of nutrition/ingredient research and he gobbles it up--and is begging for it in the morning! We have only used for a few days but so far we are very happy!

    New kitten food

    By Texas4Eva on Jun 10, 2021

My husband and I adopted a litter of 5, left on our patio. I started them on this food because of its ingredients, it’s made in KY and the kibble is tiny triangles. Perfect for 7 wk olds. They are healthy and energetic.
