When switching diets, it’s important to transition your dog or puppy as it takes time for her digestive system to adapt to the richer nutrient levels in ACANA. Over a 5-7 day period, gradually mix in ACANA, increasing the amount each day so that by day 7 you are feeding 100% ACANA.

Dogs love it!
By Susan on Feb 3, 2021
My dogs love this! Literally when I brought it inside, they went nuts. I gave them a taste then they would not leave the bag. High quality. Will definitely buy again.

Good price fast service

Our Aussie loves this food and Cheney’s price is great. We are traveling and this food is not readily available locally. The best part is the speed of delivery at a low shipping price.

Love food but kibble is too big
By TeagsMomAF on Aug 6, 2017
I've been feeding my Chi/mix this for years. Recently she needed a few teeth extracted. This size kibble is too difficult for her to chew. I contacted them and asked about smaller size kibble and was told that they have no plans to make one. Oh well, lost my business. We switched to Natures Variety Instinct Raw Boost Duck (small breed) with a topper of Primal and she's in heaven! She's never been this excited over food before. I also noticed that my fur baby wasn't as fond of her food once they moved to Kentucky. Something changed and not for the better. They should go back to whatever they were doing in Canada.

Acana etc. order
By murfman on Aug 15, 2017
My order was delivered promptly within a few days. The on-line portal is easy to navigate and the link to tracking your package is done by just pointing and clicking; no transferring you with a code. The order was accurate. My dog loved what I bought and Acana has worked well for my lab for almost 12 years now. This is a great way and a great price to get your pet's food and extras.

ACANA grasslands - the best for our senior pup!
By lakecharles on Jul 29, 2017
Our 13.5 yr lab x has rotated through all 11 ACANA recipes over the past year and Grasslands works best for her taste, skin care and digestion. We add a dollop of plain canned pumpkin for fiber boost and hydration. Will continue to purchase from Chewy until their stock runs out...then onto another site, but will stay loyal to Chewy for all other doggie supplies.

Found a winner
By Sandy74 on Jul 9, 2017
After Acana re formulated (and opened a kitchen in Kentucky)Heritage Meats, my dog fell out of love with their food. I contacted Champion Pet foods about my problem and concerns. They were great and reassure me since they opened a kitchen in Kentucky that the food was the highest quality and contained more meat than original formula. The rep sent me samples for my dogs to try and they fell in LOVE with Grassland Regional!

Not Sized for Small Breeds
By annoyedbychewy on Jun 19, 2017
My 6lb Biewer likes the taste, but struggles with the size. At just over 1/2", I doubt most toy breeds would eat it consistently--mine is a stocky, aggressive little girl that tries about anything, and she did and ate it for a day, but she prefers the size of Taste of the Wild puppy choices, even the slightly larger Orijen puppy (her favorite). So I would say that their claim of for "all breeds and sizes" is highly debatable. Wish they imported the euro version of this food that is sized for puppies but it is illegal to sell here, so I'll be trying some other brands.

CS is exceptional as always
By kira on Aug 22, 2017
I highly recommend, but unfortunately Chewy can't carry it any longer due to the Petsmart acquisition. Very disappointed, but Customer Service so far remains EXCELLENT !!!!!!

Cash loves this stuff!
By Acana on Jul 11, 2017
Cash, our 3-year old Goldendoodle loves this food. We recently switched from Lotus on a recommendation from my Vet-tech daughter, and he loves it. So much so, that we can even use it as training treats. Come and see Cash on Facebook @CashTheGoldendoodle Or on Instagram at @CashTheDood

My dogs favorite kibble
By Violet on Jul 30, 2017
My dog is extremely picky and normally has little interest in kibble, and will prefer fresh food. However she gobbles this stuff up! It's nice to rotate as a little bit of a more convenient option.
