ACANA Meadowland Regional Formula Grain-Free Dry Cat & Kitten Food

I have always been a pet lover my whole life, like most of the readers of this review. Sadly though I have not always been that diet wise when it came to my pets food. I have found that the formula for healthy pets is in the food that you feed them. Naturally when you have a pet you have those periodic visits to the vet for check ups and for their shots. The difference is that during those checkups you can pretty much rest assure that your cat or dog is going to be found healthy if you feed them the best foods you can find. However not all foods are equal, and that is where Acana comes in. Made only with the freshest and highest quality of ingredients, and preservative free! This is the first time I have used this product. I wanted to transition to this brand because of the high quality ingredients. Are 3 cats and 1 kitten immediately took to this food without any problems. Like other reviews, the cats seem to eat less frequently but are very satisfied when they do eat. I plan on trying the Grassland version in the future to offer them a different food. The kitten had no problem with the size of the kibble. None of the cats had any vomiting issues like they sometimes did with the current food. I also think the food appears less greasy and lasts longer in terms of not smelling rancid. This is a real good product so far for us.

I've been trying to get my cats, a 6 and 8 year old, to ween away from dry food but its impossible so I've been looking for good quality dry food for a while. When first trying out this brand, I mixed it in with their old food (wellness core grain free) and the kitties picked out the kibble and ignored the old stuff. They love it! The extra cost is worth their meowing excitement when I put out a fresh scoop in the mornings and also knowing they're eating good quality food.

Worth every penny because my cats eat less of this than other brands. It is dense with no fillers and they love it. They poop less too! I prefer the Grasslands formula but you didn't carry the 12 lb. bag.

We first tried Acana's Appalachian Ranch. Loved it. Not sure why it's been out of stock since, so we bought this one. Love it too. High quality ingredients - no mystery meat, no ash (yes, check your pet's food, some have ash in the analysis). 11/10 will buy again!

I finally found a brand of food that is healthy for my cats. They love this food so much

my cats love this dry food, they get it as a treat, because they eat only wet, if I had to feed them only dry I certainly would have chosen this brand, unfortunately for me and Chewy, they have parted ways. But is still 5 star.

As an experiment, instead of mixing with their old food I just put a bowl of this next to their old to see what they would do, and all three went for it, ignoring their old food completely. Obviously the taste and shape were instantly appealing to them, and I like the ingredients list on this brand better than on most other dry cat foods.

With all the high quality ingredients, I wanted to really like this food..but my Dora wouldn't touch this...i kept looking at the food found no problem...exp. date was more than a year away..but she would smell it and walk away. I switched to this from another brand that changed formulas and Dora wouldn't eat the new formula...i don't understand why companies that have a good product wanna change it.....still searching for a good quality food!!!!.

This food is highly rated and is probably great but my kitties who used to love all food won't eat it.
