Will this spray affect other wildlife that eat the bugs affected by the spray?
Answer by • Jun 16, 2017
The active ingredient in this spray is an insecticide known as Permethrin. While Permethrin does stay in the environment for a while, it is not very toxic to birds and mammals and will only cause harm if highly concentrated amounts are ingested. Additionally, most insectivores won't attempt to eat bugs that are already dead, preferring prey that is still moving.
