Flea and tick spray

This flea and tick spray is really good at killing fleas on my dogs but it does not keep them off of them. I would have to spray them everyday to get rid of the fleas. I have been treating them but for some reason, this season the flea medication is not working. This is a good spray but I wad hoping it would keep the fleas off for at least a day.
