Totally changed formula
By Alfiesmom on Feb 17, 2021
I have given my horses these treats for years. They came in very small pieces that my dwarf miniature horses were able to chew, even though they both have underbites. The last order I received was totally different. My horses were unable to even bite these and I had to practically pulverize them because they would not just break in my fingers. I ended up giving them away but apparently the person I gave them to said her horses wouldn't eat them either. It would be nice if the manufacturer would go back to the old formula.

Product change
By nikki on Jan 11, 2021
My horse used to love these and I loved how nicely they fit in pockets etc. The last jar that arrived (1/2021) is a flaky shaped heart that crumbles on contact. Definitely falls apart in a pocket. Picture on chewy.com no longer resembles current product. My horse won't touch this new "type" and I won't order them again. Although it's sad to have wasted so much money on a treat that turned out not to be what I ordered. I tried to add pictures showing the difference but I am not sure they loaded.

My horses don’t like them
By SueB on Nov 25, 2020
Aside from the fact that my horses don’t like these treats (I get it, some horses prefer certain flavors over others), I was concerned that this jar of treats did not have any sort of security seal on the packaging. It they hadn’t come from Chewy, a company I trust, I would not have even provided a sample to my horses to taste. These treats have very little fragrance, are not appealing.

Product change
By Trich2065 on Nov 23, 2020
My horses have loved these for years. Just received two jars and the formula/product clearly has changed. They are heart shaped and texture/color different. All of my horses hate them and spit them out when normally they gobble them up. I have contacted the manufacturer as this is very disappointing. In the photo, the product on left is what I just received, on right, from a jar in previous order and what I have always received.

Definitely a no go
By minaturehorsemom on Jan 9, 2021
Out of 7 horses, zero would eat them ! Everyone knows miniature horses will eat themselves to death. They won’t touch these treats.

No go at my barn
By Baypony on Sep 23, 2020
I bought these because the ingredient list didn't have a bunch of junk. they are the perfect size to put in your pocket to have treats on hand and the price was good. My horses didn't care for them at all. A couple horses would eat them reluctantly and the rest wouldn't eat them at all.

Great Treats for Training
By GingerSnap on Oct 12, 2020
My horse loves these treats and they are good as rewards for training. They are small, so not an issue if you end up giving a handful.

Horses love them
By Debsbirding on Jun 22, 2020
My 3 horses love these treats. I hold several in the palm of my hand for them to grab. I also use them when I have to mash something up for a treatment - the horses overlook the medication and eat it with the help of these treats. I have a quarter horse, an OTTB, and a Rocky Mountain paint - of all ages.

Who made these?
By Roofie on Apr 16, 2020
First when my pony, yes pony who eats everything leaves these in his bucket you know there is a problem. Not to mention that every thourobreads that we board actually spit them out. (That would be around 30 horses) Thats only half the problem, they are so small you may as well be feeding them your fingers as these rediculous treats. Whoever made them must have never given a horse a treat. I make this judgment both because of the size and the spitting out issue..
