Transition Instructions

Please remember to transition your pet's food gradually. Begin the transition by mixing their current and new food together. Decrease the amount of the current food while increasing the amount of new food over a seven-day period. By transitioning slowly, your pet will experience fewer digestive issues and better acceptance of the new food.

Why Grain-Free?

Grain and potatoes have been linked to allergies and sensitivities in cats, so Adirondack makes their foods without them. Each recipe contains only natural ingredients, with key nutrients for optimal feline nutrition. Omega-3 fatty acids from coconut oil and flaxseed support skin, coat and cognitive health while a special probiotic blend supports immune and digestive health.

Why Grain-Free?
Real Feline Nutrition

Real Feline Nutrition

Adirondack slow cooks every recipe to bring out the best nutrition and taste their wholesome ingredients have to offer. All-natural vegetables and real meat proteins, plus vitamins and minerals, provide some of the best nutrition you can find in a bag, box or can anywhere. Combine that with proven probiotics for optimal digestion and absorption and you have everything your kitty needs to thrive!

The Slow-Cooked Difference

Cooking food at a lower temperature for a longer time enhances flavor, but did you know it also helps retain nutrition? Researchers at Kansas State University found a measurable nutritional benefit to slow cooking, which means your cat will be getting more nutrients for extra stamina and energy with every delicious bite.

The Slow-Cooked Difference
Freeze-Dried Treats

Freeze-Dried Treats

Adirondack’s single ingredient, grain-free treats deliver all the meaty flavor your carnivore craves in each protein-packed bite. They make them by gently freeze-drying raw, natural meat to lock in freshness and flavor without preservatives, additives or anything else your kitty doesn’t need.

Senior cats come running for it

By Sloane on Oct 9, 2021

I recently switched my cats to this food for quality reasons, and I’ve been happy with it. My 9 year olds, one of whom is picky about dry food, both come running for meal time with this food. I get the impression, though, that it’s more filling for them than other foods I’ve fed them, because it’s the first dry food I’ve fed them in my life where my not-at-all-picky about dry food cat will graze on his food throughout the day instead of inhaling it all at once. There’s no question at all that he loves it. I’ve seen a lot of reviews that have brought down the general rating of this food because people’s cats won’t eat it, so I wanted to contribute to the positive ratings of those with cats who I recently switched my cats to this food for quality reasons, and I’ve been happy with it. Adirondack lean cat food

By kkquilter on Nov 20, 2021

I bought this for my 3 cats recently. It's a new item to me, so I added it to my autoship. All 3 of my cats have stopped eating it after about 3 days. I won't buy this brand again.

    Cost effective and eaten consistently

By Sophia on Aug 15, 2021

I have a rather large cat whose healthy. goal weight is 15.5 lbs. I was looking for a low caloric density food so he could eat more and feel fuller, but one that was a little more cost-effective than Royal Canin. This has done the trick so far! It’s not his favorite, to be fair—he can definitely tell it’s not as rich as the other foods—but he eats it just fine, and I’ve already noticed that his weight is down!

    Good product

By Seth on Jul 25, 2021

Our two senior cats love this product and it is doing wonders assisting one of them lose some weight. My only complaint is that it leaves a lot of mess. We use a slow feeder so it gets all over the floor but that is easy enough to clean up with a vacuum

    New food for seniors.

By Daffy on Jul 22, 2021

We've switched to this food for our cats because they are all seniors and they need less protein in their diets (healthier for their kidneys). They all seem to love it!

    I thought this looked good

By kwegner on May 13, 2021

My cat's do not like this food. I have six and none of them seem to think much of it. They will nibble at it when they get really hungry. I guess at least till this bag is gone it is a good diet food. :(

    Wonderful! Except...

By Gilah on Jan 10, 2021

My senior cats LOVE this food as it helps their sensitive stomachs without the prescription diet! I would absolutely recommend this product except for the fact that there was a hole in the bottom of the bag where food was falling out. No biggie!

My community cats won’t eat this food

By LHmT on Apr 5, 2020

It could be because the food is so healthy but I bought this food for multiple community/feral cats I feed and they hate it. They actually threw it out of the bowl. I still have two bags which I plan to donate. Seems like this is food that cats either love or hate.
