Treatment shampoo that kills fleas and ticks on cats and kittens over 12 weeks. Wet the animal's coat for 2-3 minutes with warm water. Apply shampoo on head and ears and lather. Then repeat procedure with neck, chest, and middle and hindquarters, finishing legs last and paying special attention to the footpads (between the toes) and underbody areas. Wash the head and ear areas carefully, making sure to keep the shampoo out of the animal's eyes. Pay special attention to the base of the tail, as it is a place frequented by fleas. Fully lather animal and let later remain on animal for 5 minutes before rinsing thoroughly with water.
For small cats less than 15 lbs, wrapping the animal in a towel for several minutes to absorb moisture is advised. This also will allow dying fleas and ticks to crawl off animal into the towel before drying animal with a towel or blow drier.

Fleas rise to the top of your pet's coat as they die, so consider it a triumph if you start seeing more fleas at first, after treating your pet. If you’re still seeing fleas after application, it may be because your pet has picked up new fleas from the environment, which may include other pets, surfaces and outdoor areas. It may take up to 30 days to break the entire flea life cycle. Additionally, you should also treat sources of new fleas (i.e., carpet, yard, etc.) to ensure complete flea control.
I washed my 2 year old cat and 2 month kitten and killed all fleas. Crazy how much fleas my kitten had and I didn’t even notice. I scratch her face all the time and stare at her closely and never saw the huge amount of fleas that were on her face. If you have a cat with a lot of fleas on their face use a rag or paper towel then make it wet then rub some of the shampoo on it and rub around the eye and mouth and nose. make sure it’s not so wet so it won’t drip in their eye or nose. No problems with rash or anything. Either my cats are lucky or it just works well. ( said only bc of its 3.3 rating)
We recently adopted a kitten that had been outdoors and brought fleas with him. Because he weighed just over a pound and "suckled" the soft food we gave him, I bathed him using (blue) Dawn dish soap to avoid using anything too strong on such a wee one. Unfortunately, the fleas began gaining ground again recently. Since he is now several weeks' older, as well as larger, than when he arrived I decided to move up to this product. The poor guy detests baths and fights me nearly the whole way, but it was SO worth the scratched up hands to see dozens of fleas die and be washed down the drain. When I dried him and used a flea comb, I was able to remove another 27 of the nasties before he'd had all he was going to take for one day. I can't wait to give him another bath in a week. I'm sure he can wait, even though he'll be much happier and less itchy afterward. =^..^=
The product works great it got rid of our cats flea problem. I was skeptical at first.
Note the first aid instructions regarding if product is inhaled before considering purchase. My dog got a good sniff of this shampoo and immediately started having breathing problems- gasping and snorting.
This product slightly worked. I did notice a difference; however, not as much as it should have been and my cat was so unhappy after this. I also shaved him before I used it. This product also causes serious eye irritation. My cats left eye is red and extremely irritated for where he doesn’t want to open it. I will not be buying this again. I purchased a pill called capstar instead which appears to work better.
This product caused sores on all 16 of my cats. two of them.... their hair was falling out. I used exactly as directed. I will go back to Veterinary Shampoo sold here.
Bottle came leaking with dried crusty shampoo all over it I need a refund and shipping label to send back.
Not impressed with this product. Bathed my kittens with this twice. Washed all bedding. Still have fleas. They stay in the house and do not go outside. Both are kept in one room. I ordered the Frontline spray and I am hoping for better results
The fleas were dying as I still putting product on my cat. I've never had a wash do this. This was insane. I was finishing up his hindquarters and there was just dead suckers in chest fur. My cat may hate me for a couple hours but its worth it to get that result.
I’m very happy with it I like how it works and how it smells thank you
