Instructions

For Cats

Cover animal's eyes with a hand. Do not spray directly on mouth, nose, or eyes. Spray head, ears, and chest until damp. With fingertips, rub into face and around mouth, nose, and eyes. Then spray from neck to tail, finishing legs last. For best penetration of spray to skin and on heavy-coated animals, direct spray against the natural lay of the hair, spraying the ruffled hair directly behind your hand. Make sure the spray thoroughly wets ticks. When used on cats, towel-dry the animal after ½ hour if not totally dry. Avoid contact with genitalia. Repeat as required, but not more often than once every 7 days (1 week).

For Kittens Over 7 Months

Wrap the animal in a towel that has been sprayed lightly with this product. Leave eyes, nose, and mouth exposed. Put some spray on the finger and gently rub around eyes, nose, and mouth area. Keep animal wrapped for 5-10 minutes. Fleas may then be removed from the coat by picking or combing. For best results, all cats should be treated with a similar flea control product such as Advantage Treatment Spray for Cats to prevent reinfestation. Do not spray directly on kittens. Avoid contact with genitalia. Repeat as required, but not more often than once every 14 days (2 weeks).

  • SAFE FOR CATS

    By on

I was very happy to find this item because it's hard to find flea sprays in stores that are safe for cats. Be careful what you buy, becauses most flea sprays are made for dogs only. Never assume that just any flea spray is safe for your cat's bedding or items they sit on! Remember, cats clean themselves by licking their fur. Advantage II is safe for both dogs and cats, and please...never confuse Advantage II with any other similar sounding product. Advantage II is the only flea spray I've found on the market to be safe for cats.

  • This Stuff Works!

For Instant Flea Relief This Is Fantastic. Works Faster Than Any Shampoo or Squeeze On. I Suggest Following Instructions & Then Wrapping Your Pet In a Towel. My Cats That Were Sensitive To The Squeeze On Were Far Less Sensitive To This. I Also Suggest Spraying Bedding Etc.

  • Fleas be gone!

    By on

Within a minute the fleas are either dead or dying. It lasts a little over a week. Our only thing is it claims to be near noiseless however it's not. The cats don't like the noise and now that we've used it a few times they know when it's coming because of the bottle in my hand. So I have to be tactical and quick when applying.

  • Sprayer hard to work

We have been using flea control since Spring. Not sure if I can really give this product a repeat in usage. My purchase came in a aerosol can not a pump as shown here. The spray is very strong chemical smelling and the house spray is almost odorless. Seems odd it's not the other why around. The sprayer was only working intermittently. Came out in a mist one time and in big droplets the next. I had already applies the topical Advantage 2 and waited the recommended time before using the spray. Very slow response time with this product. When the weather turned cold and fleas where looking for a warm home it took 3 uses before seeing it work. • Not as stated

Dose not work for 30days not even 7 days, the trouble it takes to get your cat covered is so not worth the grief. I now use it as a deterrent to keep cats off table,by giving a quick spot spray on back end.

  • Advantage II Flea Treatment

    By on

I have two indoor cats who have flea dermatitis. I used the flea drops on them which did not help much and then purchased this product to help stop the itching. Nothing seems to be working. I will purchase it again. This must be a horrible year for fleas. My cats do not even go outside. We are in the Midwest.

  • Great for fleas

I sprayed my cats and within an hour they had no fleas, and they dried off within an hour. No itching or scratching at all...and a better value than the neck drops and works just as well.

Have tried other methods for getting rid of fleas and this works. Cats are a little afraid of the sound even though it's a quite spray

  • My fleas are stronger than this

    By on

Advantage II (in the vials applied directly to my cat) used to work well, but the fleas around here seem immune to it lately. Same goes for the spray. All I get is the smell without the flea protection. Will be trying Comfortis next. Fleas are quickly adapting to various treatments. Over the years, I've used quite a few flea treatments which work for awhile, then do not. Unfortunately, that cycle appears to be accerating.
